ARRESTS May 26th, 2025- June 1st, 2025

On May 26th, Deputy Payton arrested John Anthony Presley, a citizen of Rockford, AL, on the charge(s) of Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree and Disorderly Conduct. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $5,000 bond.

On May 28th, Deputy Moeser arrested Russell Jeff Smallwood, a citizen of Rockford, AL, on the charge(s) of Violation of a Protection from Abuse Order. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $5,000 bond.

On May 29th, Deputy Moeser arrested Tammy Marie Altman, a citizen of Goodwater, AL, on the charge(s) of Assault 3rd Degree. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $2500 bond.

On June 1st, Deputy Brown arrested Kieasia Tuck, a citizen of Alexander City, AL, on the charge(s) of Failure to Appear in Court. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $151 cash bond.

MARBLE VALLEY

On May 28th, Deputies were dispatched to Deerpath Road after receiving reports of a Suspicious Person. A report was taken for information purposes.

STEWARTVILLE

On May 26th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 to conduct a business check. The business was secure.

On May 26th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 68 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies assisted the motorist without incident.

On May 28th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 to conduct a business check. The business was secure.

On May 30th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 150 after receiving reports of missing cattle A report was taken for information purposes.

On May 30th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 to conduct a business check. The business was secure.

On May 31st, Deputies were dispatched to McKinney Drive after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies made negative contact with said subject.

HANOVER

On May 26th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 to conduct a business check. The business was secure.

On May 28th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a reckless driver. Deputies located the driver in question and witnessed reckless driving. A traffic citation was issued.

On May 31st, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies assisted the motorist without incident.

On June 1st, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 75 to conduct a business check. The business was secure.

On June 1st, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a domestic dispute. Deputies made negative contact with either subject.

KELLYTON

On May 29th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 87 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies arrived and assisted the motorist without incident.

On June 1st, Deputies were dispatched to Firehouse Road after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Negative contact was made with said subject.

RICHVILLE

On May 28th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 22 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies determined the person had run out of gas. Deputies assisted the motorist without incident.

 

ROCKFORD

On May 26th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of Menacing. Deputies arrived and assessed the situation. An arrest was made. The subject was transported to Coosa County Jail without incident.

On May 29th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies arrived and assisted the motorist without incident.

On May 30th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 93 after receiving a request for a welfare check. Deputies determined everything was ok.

On May 31st, Deputies were dispatched to AL State Highway 22 after receiving reports of a civil disturbance. Deputies arrived and a report was taken for information purposes.

RAY

On May 27th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 73 after receiving a noise complaint. Deputies were unable to locate the source of the noise.

On May 28th, Deputies were dispatched to Small Loop after receiving reports of an unwanted person. Deputies were unable to locate the person in question.

 

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On May 26th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 16 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies arrived and assisted the motorist without incident.

LAKE MITCHELL

On May 27th, Deputies were dispatched to Bluff Road after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies arrived and were notified it was a false alarm.
