JAIL POPULATION AS OF SEPT. 15 ( 25 MALES & 5 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 30 INMATES

ARRESTS

On September 9th Deputy Davenport arrested David Logan Hurst from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Speeding. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On September 9th Investigator Keel arrested Jeremy Wayne Taylor from Rockford, AL. on warrants for Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance 1st and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 30,000 bond to await trial.

On September 9th Deputy Middlebrooks arrested David Tylan Jones from Goodwater, AL. on the charges of Theft of Property 4th, and Attempting to Elude, Criminal Mischief 3rd and Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 22,000 bond to await trial.

On September 10th Investigator Keel arrested Gary Lonell Bodrick from Kellyton, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Domestic Violence 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

On September 10th Deputy Rudd arrested Poshua Meon Edwards from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Non-Support of a Child. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2.500 bond to await trial.

On September 11th Capt. Hammond arrested Jason Len Alexander from Colbert, GA. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 25,000 bond to await trial.

On September 13th Deputy Rudd arrested Jatavius Marcel Nelson from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance , Speeding , Switched Tag , Driving while Suspended X 2  and Failure to Display Insurance X 2 . He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 12, 000 bond to await trial.

On September 13th Deputy Rudd arrested Alan Wayne Jennings from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Burglary 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,500 bond to await trial.

On September 14th Deputy Rudd arrested Ricky Lynn McVey from Kellyton, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2500 bond to await trial.

On September 14th Deputy Rudd arrested Marijo NMN Camaratta from Kellyton, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2500 bond to await trial.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

On September 11th a Marble Valley First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Lake Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The  resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On September 11th Marble Valley Fire Department was dispatched to CR 99 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

STEWARTVILLE

On September 9th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 74 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On September 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Gooden Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

On September 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Harvest Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

WEOGUFKA

On September 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Mack Miller Drive after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

HANOVER

On September 12th Hanover First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

MOUNT OLIVE

On September 9th Goodwater Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 116 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and one person was arrested and transported to the County Jail.

KEYNO

On September 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 71 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and two subjects were arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault.

KELLYTON

On September 10th Kellyton Medics and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 85 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On September 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject was located and the Deputy transported the subject to another residence and was warned not to return to that property.

On September 12th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 65 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On September 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined the alarm to be false.

On September 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

RICHVILLE

On September 15th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

ROCKFORD

On September 9th Deputy Rudd attended the Union Square monthly neighborhood watch meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

On September 10th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

On September 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

On September 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined the alarm to be false.

On September 12th Rockford First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Washington Street after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On September 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Nixburg Street after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined the alarm to be false.

COTTAGE GROVE

On September 9th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On September 10th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 93 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

RAY

On September 10th Thomas Stephen Fletcher a convicted Sex Offender who resides on Coleman Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On September 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 32 after receiving a report of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. A report was completed and after a brief investigation the vehicle was located.

On September 12th a Deputy and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 63 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On September 13th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 91 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On September 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 259 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined the alarm to be false.

LAKE MITCHELL

On September 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Maggie Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

SMYRNA

On September 9th    the Sheriff and Deputy Rudd attended the Smyrna monthly neighborhood watch meeting where they presented the monthly crime report for the area.
