ARRESTS

On October 13th, Deputy Scott arrested Lagari Bernard Thomas, a resident of Alexander City, AL for Failure to Appear in Court and Obstruction of Governmental Operations. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $2,500 bond and $435 cash bond.

On October 15th, Deputy Middlebrooks arrested Dylan Jakob Hay, a resident of Sylacauga, AL for Possession of Controlled Substance X 2 and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $12,500 bond.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

On October 14th, Deputies were dispatched to Riverview Lane after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. Coroner Jack Brewer was notified and scene was released for investigation.

WEOGUFKA

On October 11th, Deputies were dispatched to Baxley Farm Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputies checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

KEYNO

On September 22nd, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 40 after receiving reports of Theft of Property.  After investigation, Deputies and caller determined no report was needed.

GOODWATER

On October 15th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 123 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

KELLYTON

On October 9th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 324 after receiving a request for a welfare check. Coroner Jack Brewer was notified and scene was released for investigation.

On October 13th, Deputies were dispatched to McClellan Road after receiving a report of Trespassing. Deputies were unable to locate suspicious persons but extra patrol was conducted.

ROCKFORD

On October 11th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 14 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and the situation was resolved without a report.

On October 13th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 40 after receiving a report of a missing person. Upon arrival family was in contact with subject, no report needed at this time.

COTTAGE GROVE/ HISSOP

On October 13th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 9 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

EQUALITY

On October 9th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 9 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. Deputies spoke with all persons involved and the situation was resolved without a report.

On October 12th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 259 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On October 14th, Deputies were dispatched to Hancel Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputies checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

LAKE MARTIN

On October 9th, Deputies were dispatched to Grandview Lane after receiving a report of a suspicious person. A report was taken for information only.

On October 13th, Deputies were dispatched to Ivy Shores Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputies checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

On October 14th, Deputies were dispatched to Carnation Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputies checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

On October 14th, Deputies were dispatched to Hook Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputies checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

On October 15th, Deputies were dispatched to 66 Pleasure Island after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

SMYRNA

On October 11th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 83 after receiving a report of an unresponsive resident. Coroner Jack Brewer was notified and scene was released for investigation.
