JAIL POPULATION AS OF OCT. 14 (20 MALES & 9 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 29 INMATES

ARRESTS

On October 8th Deputy Rudd arrested David Tylan Jones from Goodwater, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay/Theft of Property 3rd and Burglary 3rd. He was processed and released on a written court order.

On October 9th Deputy Rudd arrested Derrick Thyrome Russell from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On October 10th Deputy Jones arrested Jervis Kennard Whetstone from Rockford, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Non Support of a Child. He was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On October 11th Deputy Richardson arrested Dustin Lee Hardy from Dadeville, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. HE was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On October 12th Deputy Richardson arrested Eric Jason Landers from Weogufka, AL. on a warrant for Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance 1st . He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $25,000 bond to await trial.

On October 12th Captain Hammond arrested Katherine Samira Tuck from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Expired Tag, Failure to Display Driver’s License and Failure to Use Child Restraint. She was processed and released on a $ 3,000 bond to await trial.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On October 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

On October 11th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Chatham Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On October 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Hallman Drive after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy spoke to the subject and they left the residence without incident.

On October 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Lovette Lane after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On October 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Orange Lane after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the dispute was resolved without incident.

On October 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 68 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy spoke to the person and determined that they were ok.

On October 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Jim Helm Road after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.

On October 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.

WEOGUFKA

On October 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of two suspicious people. The Deputy located the subjects and determined that everything was ok.

HANOVER

On October 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined that everything was ok.

On October 12th Hanover First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

GOODWATER

On October 10th Kenneth Ray Swindell a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Queen Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On October 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment and the warrant process was explained.

On October 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 140 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

KELLYTON

On October 8th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 85 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On October 8th a Deputy was dispatched to Long Tree Drive after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

On October 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On October 11th an Alabama State Trooper was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident with no reported injuries. A report was completed without incident.

On October 13th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 50 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

RICHVILLE

On October 9th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On October 14th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

ROCKFORD

On October 8th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.

On October 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Washington Street after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.

EQUALITY

On October 10th Deputies were dispatched to CR 98 after receiving a report of a missing elderly person. A report was completed and the person was located after the Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident involving the missing person.

On October 11th Alexander City Fire Medics, Deputies and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On October 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.

On October 13th Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Flagg Mountain after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

SMYRNA

On October 8th Deputy Jones attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
