ARRESTS

On October 23rd Deputy Rudd arrested William James Hurley from Selma, AL. on the charge of Theft of Property 4th. He was processed and released on a $ 500 bond to await trial.

On October 23rd Deputy Rudd arrested Raymond Leonard Wolfe from Selma, AL. on the charge of Theft of Property 4th. He was processed and released on a $ 500 bond to await trial.

On October 24th Deputy Richardson arrested Kristal Ann Strickland from Sylacauga, AL. on warrant for Theft of Property 4th and Burglary 2nd. She was processed and released on a $ 7,500 bond to await trial.

On October 25th Deputy Jones arrested Jared Tait Compton from Weogufka, AL. on the charge of carrying a Concealed Pistol Without a Permit. He was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

On October 26th Deputy Rudd arrested Dani Marie Marshall from Kellyton, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Non-Support of a Child. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On October 28th Deputy Davenport arrested George NMN Kelly Jr. from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Cruelty to Animals. He was processed and released on a $ 2,500 bond to await trial.

 

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On October 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to Lovette Lane after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and located the vehicle, in which he determined that everything was ok.

On October 24th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On October 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 78 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

On October 25th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 68 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On October 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and located the person, and they were warned not to come back on the property.

On October 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 70 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

On October 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 78 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

WEOGUFKA

On October 23rd a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 55 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On October 24th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to R 55 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On October 25th a Deputy was dispatched to McLain Lane after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

GOODWATER

On October 25th Stacy Bernard McKinney a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 52 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON

On October 24th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On October 25th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a three vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On October 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 115 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On October 26th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 71 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On October 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

RICHVILLE

On October 22nd Richville First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to CR 459 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to a local hospital.

ROCKFORD

On October 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and two subjects were arrested for Theft of Property 4th.

On October 24th Rockford and Ray First Responders were dispatched to Hill Street after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.

On October 26th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report an Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

On October 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 79 after receiving a report of an Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. A report was completed and the vehicle was recovered and returned to the owner.

EQUALITY

On October 22nd Equality First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 259 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

On October 25th Deputy Jones attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

RAY

On October 23rd Ray First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On October 23rd Ray First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Small Loop after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On October 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

On October 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 73 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

LAKE MARTIN

On October 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Spooky Hollow Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
