JAIL POPULATION AS OF MAY 13 (24 MALES & 7 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 31 INMATES

ARRESTS

On May 7th Lt. Keel arrested James O’Brien Spears from Kellyton, AL. on warrants for Destruction of Property by an Inmate and Identity Theft. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $10,000 bond to await trial.

On May 8th Capt. Hammond arrested Barry Dixon Limbaugh Jr. from Dadeville, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On May 12th Deputy Richardson arrested Wade Lee Champion from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear / Driving While Revoked, Switched Tag, Improper Passing, Failure to Display Insurance, Speeding and Failure to Register Vehicle. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 6,000 bond to await trial.

On May 13th Deputy Richardson arrested Clayton Edward Spradley from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear / Driving While Suspended. He was processed and released on a $1,000 bond to await trial.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

On May 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Peoples Lane after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

STEWARTVILLE

On May 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 70 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On May 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for harassment and the warrant process was explained.

On May 10th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report an Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On May 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined that everything was ok.

On May 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.

WEOGUFKA

On May 11th Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 55 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

HANOVER

On May 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

KELLYTON

On May 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 77 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On May 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.

On May 8th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the subject and determined that everything was ok.

On May 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.

On May 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that everything was ok.

RICHVILLE

On May 8th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report an Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On May 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of several people riding ATV’s in the roadway. The Deputy located the subjects and warned them about riding on the roadway.

ROCKFORD

On May 7th Rockford Fire Department was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

On May 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.

 

SPEED

On May 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 45 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On May 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

On May 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 93 after receiving a report of an unwanted person at a residence. The Deputy spoke to subject and they left the residence without incident.

On May 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the subject and transported them to a local residence.

On May 13th Ray First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

RAY

On May 8th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report an Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On May 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of Trespassing. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the warrant process.

On May 10th Haynes Ambulance was dispatched to Mann’s Farm Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On May 13th Ray Fire Department was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

On May 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

LAKE MARTIN

On May 11th Haynes Ambulance was dispatched to Snapdragon Point after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On May 12th Haynes Ambulance was dispatched to Parker Creek Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Elmore County Hospital.

 

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On May 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Johns Lane after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

LAKE MITCHELL

On May 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Pody Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm had been activated by accident.
