JAIL POPULATION AS OF May 30th (19 MALES & 6 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 25 INMATES

 

ARRESTS

On May 25th, Chief Long arrested Tykeyona Shilonda Shawnta Smith of Alexander City, AL for failure to appear warrants. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $756 cash bond.

On May 26th, Deputy Scott arrested Lamichael Jacobe Corbin of Equality AL, for Probation Revocation x2, Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Concealed Weapon Without Permit. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail without bond.

On May 27th, Deputy Bradberry arrested Matthew Lon Marler of Vincent AL, for Attempting to Elude. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $2,500 bond.

On May 28th, Deputy Scott arrested Poshua Meon Edwards of Goodwater AL, for Failure to Pay/Driving while Revoked. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $1,000 bond.

On May 30th, Deputy Middlebrooks arrested Richard Alvin Hayes of Clanton AL, for Shooting into an Unoccupied Building, Shooting into an Unoccupied Vehicle, and Attempted Murder. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $56, 000 bond.

 

 

CALLS FOR SERVICE

 

STEWARTVILLE

On May 24th, Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a commercial burglar alarm. Deputies checked the business and determined alarm to be false.

On May 27th, Sylacauga Ambulance, Stewartville First Responders, and Deputies were dispatched to Hope Lane after receiving a report of a residence needing medical assistance. The scene was turned over to the County Coroner and the subject was transported to Curtis and Son Funeral Home.

On May 28th, Stewartville First Responders and Deputies were dispatched to Shiloh Trailor Park after receiving a report of a residence needing medical assistance. Subject was treated on scene.

On May 29th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.

On May 29th, Sylacauga Ambulance and Stewartville First responders were dispatched to Hallman Drive after a resident requested medical treatment. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On May 29th, Sylacauga Ambulance and Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to CR 78 after receiving a report of a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On May 30th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 74 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.

WEOGUFKA

On May 25th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The complainant was assisted without incident.

On May 28th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 15 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.

HANOVER

On May 24th, Kellyton Medics and Hanover First Responders were dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical treatment. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On May 26th, Kellyton Medics, Hanover First Responders and Deputies were dispatched to CR 75 after a resident requested medical treatment. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

KELLYTON

On May 25th, Charles Norman Ringo, a registered sex offender who lives on CR 97, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his Quarterly Sex Offender registration.

On May 27th, Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 280 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.

On May 30th, Kellyton Medics and Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a resident needing medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

ROCKFORD

On May 26th, deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 231 after receiving a report of Identity Theft. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.

On May 26th, Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputies checked residence and determined alarm to be false.

SMYRNA

On May 25th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of Harassing Communications. Deputies spoke with complainant and the situation was resolved without a report.

MARBLE VALLEY

On May 27th, Sylacauga Ambulance and Marble Valley First responders were dispatched to CR 5 after a resident requested medical treatment. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

RICHVILLE

On May 25th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 459 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy determined alarm to be false.

On May 29th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a juvenile in need of supervision. A report was completed, and case was turned over to juvenile authorities.

MT OLIVE

On May 24th, the Litter Abatement Officer was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of Illegal Dumping. The trash was collected, and case is under investigation.

On May 29th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 117 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.

LAKE MARTIN

On May 28th, Deputies were dispatched to Daisy Drive after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputies checked residence and determined alarm to be false.

EQUALITY

On May 24th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 51 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and determined alarm to be false.
