ARRESTS

On May 22nd, Captain Hammond arrested Richard Alvin Hayes, a resident of Clanton, AL for Violation of Release Order and Failure to Appear in Court.  He was processed into the Coosa County Jail and is being held without bond.

On May 24th, Investigator Ward arrested Gervantee Develle Laney, a resident of Alexander City, AL for Robbery First Degree and Kidnapping Second Degree.  He was processed into the Coosa County Jail and is being held without bond.

On May 25th, Sergeant Rudd arrested James Keller Harmon III, a resident of Cropwell, AL for Failure to Appear in Court.  He was processed into the Coosa County Jail and is being held on $150 Cash Bond.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On May 22nd, Deputies were dispatched to Orange Lane after receiving a report of a suspicious person making threats.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On May 22nd, Deputies and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to a Medical Call on Gooden Lane.  Person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On May 23rd, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 150 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle.  Deputies spoke with all parties and the situation was resolved without a report.

On May 23rd, Bobby Saffold, of Kellyton, AL reported to Lieutenant Moon at the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office to update his Sex Offender Registration Information.

On May 25th, Deputies, Stewartville Fire and Hanover Fire were dispatched to Coosa County Road 41 after receiving a report of a structure fire.  Fire was extinguished.

On May 27th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving a report of Theft of Property.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

HANOVER

On May 24th, Deputies and Hanover Fire responded to a Medical Call on Coosa County Road 75.  Person was transported to Coosa Valley.

MT OLIVE

On May 25th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 116 after receiving a report of Harassment by Communications.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

KELLYTON

On May 23rd, Charles Ringo, of Kellyton, AL reported to Lieutenant Moon at the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office to update his Sex Offender Registration Information.

On May 23rd, Johnathan Vines, of Kellyton, AL reported to Lieutenant Moon at the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office to update his Sex Offender Registration Information.

On May 23rd, Deputies were dispatched to Trailer Park Road after receiving a report of a civil dispute.  Deputies determined it was a civil matter and no report was needed.

On May 27th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 85 after receiving a report of a civil dispute.  Deputies determined that a report was not needed.

ROCKFORD

On May 24th, Deputies responded to call on US Highway 231 after receiving a report of property damage.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On May 24th, Deputies responded to call on Woodfin Road after receiving a report of a domestic dispute.  A report was taken and the case in under investigation.

EQUALITY

On May 23rd, Hunter Lucas, a resident of Equality, AL reported to Lieutenant Moon at the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office to update his Sex Offender Registration Information.

RAY

Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 119 after receiving a report of Fraud.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On May 26th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 155 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm.  Deputies determined the alarm to be false; no report needed.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT

On May 23rd, Angela Sue Sextion reported to Lieutenant Moon at the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office to update her Sex Offender Registration Information.
