JAIL POPULATION AS OF MAY 26 (30 MALES & 6 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 36 INMATES
ARRESTS
On May 21st Capt. Hammond arrested Cataurus Yvell Phillips from Montgomery, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Driving While Revoked and Switched Tag. He was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On May 22nd Sgt. Jones arrested Olin Eugene Wedge from Sylacauga, AL. on Grand Jury Indictments for Switched Tag, Failure to Display Insurance and Improper Trailer Lights. He was processed and released on a $ 750 bond to await trial.
On May 22nd Deputy Davenport arrested Charles Richard Taylor from Goodwater, AL. on the charge of Criminal Mischief 3rd. He was processed and released on a $ 500 bond to await trial.
On May 22nd Sgt. Jones arrested Jim H. Girdner from Equality, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On May 22nd Deputy Davenport arrested Nikole Dianne Moats from Sylacauga, AL. on the charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st and Public Intoxication. She was processed and released on a $ 2,500 bond to await trial.
On May 23rd Deputy Davenport arrested Casey Hugh Barnett from Stewartville, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/ Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On May 24th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Joshua Clay Lewis from Childersburg, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,500 bond to await trial.
On May 25th Deputy Cook arrested Sequoyah Nichelle Jackson from Alpine, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/ Failure to Display Insurance and Speeding. She was processed and released on a $2,000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
MARBLE VALLEY
On May 20th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 5 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.
STEWARTVILLE
On May 20th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On May 21st Bobby Aaron Saffold a convicted Sex Offender who resides on CR 70, reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On May 21st Freddie Richard Johns Jr a convicted Sex Offender who resides on CR 41, reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On May 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and completed a report with one arrest for Drug Paraphernalia and Public Intoxication.
On May 24th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
WEOGUFKA
On May 20th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On May 21st Angela Sue Sexton a convicted Sex Offender who resides at CR 29, reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update her quarterly Sex Offender information.
HANOVER
On May 20th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined everything to be ok.
On May 21st Sheriff Howell and Deputy Rudd attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting, where they presented the monthly crime report for the area.
On May 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined them to be ok.
KEYNO
On May 20th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 71 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
GOODWATER
On May 21st Henry Lee Kelly a convicted Sex Offender who resides on Hwy 9, reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On May 21st Raymond Adam Chillura a convicted Sex Offender who resides on Queen St, reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On May 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 111 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and it appeared to be disabled.
KELLYTON
On May 21st Kenneth Brandon Bolt a convicted Sex Offender who resides on Hwy 115, reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On May 21st Charles Norman Ringo a convicted Sex Offender who resides on CR 97, reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On May 21st Jonathan Wayne Vines a convicted Sex Offender who resides on Hwy 280, reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On May 23rd Kellyton Fire Department was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On May 23rd Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Lightwood Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On May 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of an unwanted pPerson. The subject causing the problems had left prior to Deputy’s arrival.
On May 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of an Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
RICHVILLE
On May 22nd Stewartville and Equality Fire Departments were dispatched to CR 19 after receiving a report of a vehicle fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
ROCKFORD
On May 20th Rockford First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to School St after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On May 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Coosada Street after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and everything appeared to be ok.
On May 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
COTTAGE GROVE
On May 21st Carey Tumane Leonard a convicted Sex Offender who resides on CR 101, reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
EQUALITY
On May 24th a Deputy was dispatched to Tar Bucket Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
RAY
On May 20th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 32 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On May 21st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a Civil Dispute. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On May 21st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 322 after receiving a report of Harassment. The Deputy spoke with the complainant and the warrant process was explained.
On May 23rd Kellyton Medics, Stewartville First Responders and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 155 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
LAKE MARTIN
On May 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Spooky Hollow Road after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA
On May 24th Deputies were dispatched to Cedar Circle after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. Deputies arrived on scene; one subject was arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault.
SMYRNA
On May 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Dickey Lane after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and one person was arrested for Criminal Mischief 3rd.
