JAIL POPULATION AS OF MAY 19 (33 MALES & 6 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 39 INMATES

ARRESTS

On May 13th Capt. Hammond arrested Eric Jason Landers from Alpine, AL. on Grand Jury Indictments for, Attempting to Elude, Reckless Driving, Failure to Signal, No Tag, Failure to Display Insurance, Expired Driver’s License, Improper Lane Usage and Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 4,100 bond to await trial.

On May 14th Capt. Hammond arrested Marilyn Diane Jones from Weogufka, AL. on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st, Possession of an Illegal Still, Making a False report to Law Enforcement and Obstructing Governmental Operations. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 12,500 bond to await trial.

On May 14th Capt. Hammond arrested Curtis Edward Ezekiel from Weogufka, AL. on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 1st, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st, Illegal Possession of a Still, Domestic Violence 2nd, and Ex-Felon in Possession of a Firearm. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 12,500 bond to await trial.

On May 15th Deputy Rudd arrested Paul Thomas Riley from Youngstown, Ohio on the charge of Public Intoxication. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 500 bond to await trial.

On May 18th Deputy Davenport arrested Layetta Sheree Davis from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Speeding, Failure to Display Insurance and No Drivers License. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 3,000 bond to await trial.

On May 18th Deputy Davenport arrested Christopher Anthony Chapman from Kellyton, AL. on the charges of Domestic Violence 3rd/Menacing, and Making a False Report to Law Enforcement. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,500 bond to await trial.

On May 19th Deputy Davenport arrested Christina Leeann Miley from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Theft of Property 4th. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 500 bond to await trial.

On May 19th Deputy Davenport arrested Nathaniel Louis Norris from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/No Drivers License. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On May 19th Deputy Davenport arrested Scott NMN Epperson from Goodwater, AL. on the charge of Violation of a Protection Order. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a % 500 bond to await trial.

On May 19th Deputy Davenport arrested Octavious Demond Edison from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Driving While Suspended. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On May 14th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.

On May 15th Stewartville First Responders and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 78 after receiving a request for a welfare check. They spoke to the person and determined that they were OK.

On May 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 39 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On May 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was OK.

On May 17th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.

On May 18th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 39 after receiving a report of shots fired. A report was done for Shooting Into An Occupied Dwelling and the case is under investigation.

On May 18th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 78 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. After speaking to the complainant, a report was completed for Breaking & Entering of a Vehicle and Criminal Mischief and the case is under investigation.

On May 18th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the roadway. The Deputy located the subject and determined that everything was ok.

On May 18th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On May 19th a Deputy, Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 78 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy located the subject and determined that the subject needed medical attention. Sylacauga Ambulance transported one to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

 

WEOGUFKA

On May 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault and the warrant process was explained.

On May 16th the Sheriff and Deputy Rudd attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where they presented the monthly crime report for the area.

On May 17th a Deputy was dispatched to Duke Trailer Park after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On May 18th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 15 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was OK.

HANOVER

On May 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and it appeared to be disabled.

On May 16th Hanover Fire Department was dispatched to CR 75 after receiving a report of a fire alarm activated at the school. The buildings were checked and it was determined that the alarm was false.

On May 19th Stewartville First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

MOUNT OLIVE

On May 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 511 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

GOODWATER

On May 13th Charles Rufus Gardner a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 9 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON

On May 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the scene prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

On May 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. After speaking to both parties it was discovered that one of them was wanted in another County. The subject was transported to the County Line and turned over to the other Agency without incident.

On May 13th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 325 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On May 15th local Fire Departments responded to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a fully involved house fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

On May 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the subject and one arrest was made for Public Intoxication.

On May 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On May 18th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 65 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report for domestic violence 3rd/harassment was completed and one subject was arrested.

On May 19th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

ROCKFORD

On May 13th a Deputy and Rockford First Responders were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. After speaking to the person, it was determined that they had lost their way. The subject was transported to the Sheriff’s Office till family members could come to transport them back home.

On May 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of an unwanted person at a business. The subject causing the problems had left the property prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

On May 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Nixburg Street after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.

On May 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the premises prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

EQUALITY

On May 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 307 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

RAY

On May 15th J.C. Winslett a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 231, reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On May 18th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was OK.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On May 17th Weogufka First Responders, Care Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 125 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. Three people were transported to the Chilton County Hospital and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
