On March 10th, Sergeant Rudd arrested Tatarika Daphina Green, a citizen of Alexander City, AL, on two charges of Failure to Appear in Court. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $1000 bond.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On March 5th, Deputies were dispatched to Sunnyside Circle after receiving reports of property damage. No report was needed/wanted.

On March 7th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Vehicle was unable to be jumped off and was left overnight until it was able to be towed.

On March 9th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle. Vehicle was logged unoccupied.

On March 10th, Deputies were dispatched to Thornton Lane after receiving a noise complaint. The group was dispersed peacefully.

On March 10th, Deputies were dispatched to Eds Lane after receiving a request for assistance with a juvenile. Deputies assisted successfully.

WEOGUFKA

On March 4th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Rd 29 after receiving reports of an unwanted person. Subject left prior to deputies ‘arrival. Property was checked thoroughly and secured.

On March 9th, Deputies were dispatched to us Coosa County Road 55 after receiving a noise complaint. Negative contact was made.

HANOVER

On March 5th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a drunk driver. Contact was made with driver and they were determined to be fine.

On March 7th, Deputies were dispatched to Hatchet Creek after receiving reports of a reckless driver. Subject was issued a verbal warning.

KELLYTON

On March 4th, Deputies, Kellyton EMS, Goodwater EMS, Coosa 22, and ALEA were dispatched to AL Highway 9 and AL Highway 115 after receiving reports of a vehicle accident. Scene was turned over to the Coosa County Coroner.

On March 5th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 133 after receiving reports of an animal call. Animals were deemed not a threat. Subject was able to make it into her home.

On March 7th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 77 after receiving reports of Criminal Trespassing. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On March 7th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 9 after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle. Driver was found to be tired and just pulled over to rest.

On March 8th, Deputies were dispatched to Sweet Tree Lane after receiving reports of Fraud. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

ROCKFORD

On March 4th, Deputies were dispatched to U S Highway 231 after receiving reports of a reckless driver. Negative contact was made with the vehicle described.

On March 6th, Deputies were dispatched to Hill Street after receiving reports of a civil dispute. All parties were separated; no report wanted/needed.

On March 8th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a residential burglary alarm. The alarm was determined to be false; no report needed.

On March 8th, Deputies were dispatched to Adams Street after receiving reports of Harassment by Communications. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On March 8th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Negative contact was made with any vehicle.

COTTAGE GROVE/ HISSOP

On March 4th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 22 after receiving reports of a residential burglary alarm. The alarm was determined to be false; no report needed.

On March 4th, Deputies, Rockford Fire and Coosa EMS were dispatched to AL Highway 22 and AL Highway 9 after receiving reports of a medical call. Subject was evaluated but refused transport.

EQUALITY

On March 4th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 9 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies assisted motorist.

On March 7th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 4 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Contact was made with subjects. No report was wanted/needed.

On March 6th, Deputies were dispatched to AL State Highway 22 after receiving reports of a residential burglary alarm. The alarm was determined to be false; no report needed.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT

On March 7th, Deputies were dispatched to Antler Loop after receiving reports of an unwanted person. Negative contact was made with any persons.

LAKE MITCHELL

On March 5th, Deputies were dispatched to Lakeland Drive after receiving reports of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On March 5th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 110 after receiving requests for a welfare check. Everything determined to be fine.

SALEM

On March 6th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 118 after receiving reports of Theft of Property. No report was taken due to the power lines still being down and subject was asked to come to the Sheriff’s Office to make a report.

SPEED

On March 8th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Vehicle was towed.
