JAIL POPULATION AS OF MARCH 28th (32 MALES & 6 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 38 INMATES

 

ARRESTS

On March 22nd, Deputy Ward arrested Timothy Earl Curtis of Sylacauga, AL on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $7000 bond.

On March 24th, Investigator Fenn arrested Kenneth Brandon Bolt of Kellyton, AL on a warrant for a SORNA Violation.  He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $10000 bond.

On March 25th, Corporal Rudd arrested Lonnie Ray Mace of Alex City, AL on a warrant for Theft of Services 4th.  He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $500 bond. 

On March 26th, Deputy Ward arrested Otis Todd Plier of Weogufka, AL on warrants for FTA-Carrying Pistol without Permit and FTA-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with no bond. 

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On March 25th, Stewartville VFD and Deputies were dispatched to CR39 for a motor vehicle accident.  No injuries were reported and the driver did not need a report.

On March 27th, Deputies were dispatched to Martin Family Trail to assist a Fed EX driver who had gotten stuck.  No report was needed. 

On March 28th, Deputies were dispatched to Rustling Pines Lane for a domestic disturbance.  One of the subjects had left prior to the Deputy’s arrival.  No report was needed.

On March 28th, A Deputy was dispatched to US231 for a disabled motorist blocking the road.  Stewartville VFD assisted the Deputy.  No report was needed.

 

WEOGUFKA

On March 23rd, Robert Clay Schrader Jr. a registered sex offender, who lives on CR56, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his quarterly sex offender registration. 

On March 27th, Deputies were dispatched to the 1400 block of CR112 for a noise complaint.  When Deputies arrived on scene, the parties had already left.  No report was needed. 

HANOVER

On March 24th, Deputies were dispatched to the 1100 block of CR59 for a report of Theft of Property.  A report was completed and the incident is still under investigation. 

GOODWATER

On March 22nd, Deputies were dispatched to CR66 for a report of Property Damage.  A report was completed for Criminal Mischief and turned over to investigators. 

On March 25th, Willie Earl Gamble, a registered sex offender, who lives on Gamble Drive, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his quarterly sex offender registration. 

KELLYTON

On March 22nd, Deputies were dispatched to CR85 for a report of property damage.  No report was filed due to the fact that the damage happened due to a civil matter. 

On March 23rd, Kellyton EMS, Alabama State Troopers and Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of US280 for a motor vehicle accident.  No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to Troopers. 

On March 25th, Kellyton VFD and EMS along with Alabama State Troopers and Deputies were dispatched to US280 @ CR111 for a motor vehicle accident.  No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to Troopers for investigation. 

ROCKFORD

On March 22nd, Deputies were dispatched to the 4 way stop to assist in traffic control where a log truck had lost a load.  No report was needed.  

On March 26th, a citizen came to the Sheriff’s Office to file a report for property damage.  A report was completed and is still under investigation.

On March 27th, a citizen walked into the Sheriff’s Office to file a report of Theft of Property.  A report was completed and is still under investigation. 

SPEED

On March 28th, Deputies were dispatched to a hunting club on CR14 for a domestic disturbance.  One of the parties had already left prior to the deputy’s arrival.  A report was completed and turned over to investigators.  

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

On March 24th, Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of CR331 for a report of Littering.  A report was complete for Criminal Mischief and turned over to investigators. 

EQUALITY

On March 26th, Deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of AL HWY9 for a report of a suspicious person in the area.  A report was completed and is still under investigation.

On March 27th, Deputies were dispatched to Pine Needle Road for a residential alarm.  Once on scene, the Deputy checked all doors and windows and everything seemed secure.  False alarm, no report was needed. 

RAY

On March 24th, Ray VFD, Kellyton EMS, Alabama State Troopers and Deputies were dispatched to the 4000 block of AL HWY22 for a motor vehicle accident.  No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to Troopers.

On March 25th, Deputies were dispatched to the 1400 block of CR54 for a report of Theft of Property.  A report was completed and the incident is still under investigation.

On March 27th, Kellyton EMS, Ray VFD, Alabama State Troopers and Deputies were dispatched to the 1500 block of AL HWY22 for a motor vehicle accident.  One person was transported to Russell Medical Center.  Troopers are investigating the accident.

On March 27th, Ray VFD, Alabama State Troopers and Deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of AL HWY22 for a motor vehicle accident.  No injuries were reported.  Troopers are investigating.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On March 22nd, Deputies were dispatched to Johns Lane for a report for Theft of Property.  A report was completed and is still under investigation.

LAKE MITCHELL

On March 26th, Coosa County EMA and Deputies assisted Chilton County with cleanup of an oil spill in the water.

SALEM

On March 27th, Richville VFD, Stewartville VFD, Kellyton EMS, Lifesaver Air Med, and Deputies all assisted in getting a person out of the creek that had been snake bitten.  The patient was airlifted to UAB.  No report was needed.
