ARRESTS

On March 15th, Deputy Scott arrested David Tyrell Benson., a resident of Rockford, AL for Failure to Pay court fines, fees and restitution on Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $1,307 cash bond.

On March 17th, Deputy Scott arrested Richard T. Marbury Jr., a resident of Rockford, AL Reckless Endangerment and Assault. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $9,000 bond.

On March 18th, Deputy Payton arrested Richard Allen Henderson, a resident of Kellyton, AL for Failure to Pay Child Support. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $2,000 bond.

On March 18th, Deputy Payton arrested Jacqulyn Hollie Letcher, a resident of Weogufka, AL for Failure to Appear in Court. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $216 cash bond.

On March 18th, Investigator Dawson with Goodwater Police Department arrested Joshua Lashawn Dawson, a resident of Goodwater, AL for Assault. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $5000 bond.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

On March, 19th, Deputies were dispatched to Green View Lane after receiving a report of Harassment. Deputies determined the events transpired in a neighboring county; no report needed.

STEWARTVILLE

On March 15th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 78 after receiving a report of an Assault.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On March 15th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 39 after receiving a report of an Assault.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On March 19th, a Deputy was dispatched to McKinney Drive after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.

WEOGUFKA

On March 19th, Deputies and Weogufka Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle accident on Coosa County Road 29. There were no injuries. Scene was turned over to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).

GOODWATER

On March 16th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 66 to assist Goodwater Police Department with a noise complaint. No report was needed.

HANOVER

On March 18th, Deputies, Hanover Volunteer Fire Department, and Stewartville Volunteer Fire Department responded to a request for assistance on Coosa County Road 56. The individual was assisted and all parties returned to service.

On March 18th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies found the vehicle to be unoccupied and ensured the building was secure.

MT OLIVE

On March 15th, Deputies were dispatched to Cripple Creek Trail after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved, subjects were separated for the night, and the situation was resolved without a report.

On March 17th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 123 after receiving a report of a vehicle accident. There was no one on scene when Deputies arrived. The Scene was turned over to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).

On March 18th, Deputies were dispatched to Cripple Creek Trail after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and the situation was resolved without a report. 

KELLYTON

On March 15th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 315 after receiving a report of a civil dispute.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On March 16th, Kellyton Volunteer Fire Department responded to a brush fire on Red Leaf Trail. Fire was extinguished without incident.

On March 17th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On March 19th, Kellyton EMS responded to a medical call on Long Tree Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The individual was transported to Russel Medical Center.

ROCKFORD

On March 18th, Deputies and Rockford Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on Washington Street. The source of the smoke was located and the power was disconnected.

SPEED

On March 17th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The subject was transported to Sylacauga.

COTTAGE GROVE

On March 16th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 315 after receiving a report of a civil dispute.  The result ended in an arrest and the subject was processed into the Coosa County Jail.

On March 17th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 315 after receiving a report of a civil dispute.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

EQUALITY

On March 17th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 2 after receiving a report of property damage.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On March 19th, Deputies, Equality Volunteer Fire Department, and Goodwater EMS responded to a medical call on Coosa County Road 98 after a resident requested medical assistance. The individual was transported to Russel Medical Center.

RAY

On March 15th, Ray Volunteer Fire Department and Goodwater EMS responded to a medical call on Coosa County Road 91 after a resident requested medical assistance.  No transport needed.

On March 17th, Ray Volunteer Fire Department and Goodwater EMS responded to a medical call on Coosa County Road 98 after a resident requested medical assistance.  No transport needed.

On March 18th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 42 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle.  Subject was advised to leave the property. No report was needed.

On March 18th, Deputies and Ray Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to AL Highway 22 to assist Central Alabama Electric Cooperative with a downed tree/power line. Deputies directed traffic until the road area was clear.

On March 18th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 22 East after a motorist reported keys were locked inside their vehicle. Deputies unlocked the vehicle successfully.

On March 19th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious person.  Area was clear, no report needed.

KEYNO

On March 15th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 40 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. After questioning, no report was wanted or needed.
