ARRESTS

On June 5th Capt. Hammond arrested Brian Wayne Hart from Leeds, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On June 5th Capt. Hammond arrested Christy Nicole Bailey from Leeds, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On June 6th Deputy Richardson arrested Stephanie Beth Morris from Deatsville, AL. on the charges of Attempting to Elude, Resisting Arrest, Possession of Marijuana 2nd, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 7,500 bond to await trial.

On June 7th Lt. Keel arrested Alicia Renee Wilson from Jackson’s Gap, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/ Negotiating a Worthless Instrument. She was processed and released on a $1000 bond to await trial.

On June 7th Deputy Davenport arrested Michael David Pitts from Jacksonville, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Leaving the Scene of an Accident. He was processed and released on a $1,000 bond to await trial.

On June 8th Deputy Richardson arrested Virginia Mae Rowell from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Assault 3rd. She was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On June 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Lovette Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the resident and determined that the alarm was false.

On June 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Hallman Drive after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

On June 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 66 after receiving a report of a loud noise in the area. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the source of the noise.

On June 8th Deputies, Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Ferguson Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On June 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Rustling Pines after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy located the subject and determined that they were ok.

On June 20th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of Harassment. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

WEOGUFKA

On June 8th a Deputy was dispatched to Roberts Drive after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

HANOVER

On June 7th Hanover First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Popular Point Campground after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On June 7th Hanover First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On June 10th Hanover First Responders were dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.

On June 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

MOUNT OLIVE

On June 6th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

KEYNO

On June 5th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

KELLYTON

On June 5th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On June 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Long Tree Drive after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On June 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Morning Star Lane after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

On June 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On June 8th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.

On June 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that a worker had set the alarm off by mistake.

RICHVILLE

On June 6th a Deputy was checking on a suspicious vehicle and while checking on the status of the driver he determined that she had outstanding warrants in other counties. The driver attempted to flee and was arrested and transported to the County Jail without incident.

On June 7th Deputy Davenport attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

ROCKFORD

On June 4th Deputy Richardson attended the Union Square Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

On June 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 108 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On June 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Nixburg Street after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.

SPEED

On June 9th Richville First Responders, Kellyton and Haynes Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 14 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. One person was airlifted to UAB Hospital in Birmingham and one was transported to Elmore County Hospital and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

On June 5th Kellyton Medics and a Deputy were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On June 10th Ray First Responders and Goodwater Medics were dispatched to CR 93 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

EQUALITY

On June 8th Dwaine Anthony Lewis a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 98 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On June 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.

RAY

On June 6th Ray First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 259 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On June 6th Ray First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On June 7th Quintae Quontex Howard a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 91 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

LAKE MARTIN

On June 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Kowaliga Kove after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

LAKE MITCHELL

On June 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 110 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the subject and determined that everything was ok.

SALEM

On June 4th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 118 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and the issue was resolved without incident.
