ARRESTS

On June 19th Deputy Middlebrooks arrested Robert Allen Jenkins of Auburn, AL for Domestic Violence 3rd Degree. Subject was processed in the Coosa County Jail with a $2,500 bond.

On June 20th Deputy Scott arrested Daja Monique Harrison of Birmingham, AL for Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Promoting Prison Contraband and Destruction of Property by Prisoner. Subject was processed in the Coosa County Jail with a $15,000 bond.

On June 21st Captain Hammond arrested Justin Dewayne George of Kellyton, AL for Domestic Violence Harassment. Subject was processed in the Coosa County Jail with a $2,500 bond.

On June 22nd Deputy Scott arrested Donald Floyd Gissendanner Jr for Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd. Subject was processed in the Coosa County Jail with a $7,500 bond.

On June 22nd Deputy Scott arrested Dentarious Lamar Jackson for a Probation Violation.  He was booked into jail and released the next day on court order.

On June 23rd, Jeremy Lamont Ragland of Talladega, AL turned himself in on a Drug Sanction. He was processed and released after serving his 24-Hour Sanction.

On June 23rd Deputy Middlebrooks arrested April Tasha-Butler Smith of Rockford for Disorderly Conduct. Subject was processed in the Coosa County Jail with a $500 bond.

On June 25th Deputy Middlebrooks arrested Mark Branch of Alexander City for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment. Subject was processed in the Coosa County Jail with a $2,500 bond.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On June 23rd Deputies and Stewartville Fire were dispatched to Coosa County Road 53 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On June 25th Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving a report of Harassment.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

WEOGUFKA

On June 21st Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 29 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute.  Deputies spoke with all parties involved. No report required.

HANOVER

On June 21st Deputies, Hanover Fire and Goodwater EMS were dispatched to Coosa County Road 49 for a medical call.  Subject was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

KENYO

On June 23rd Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 40 after receiving multiple calls about a cow in the road.  The owner was located and the cow was returned home safely.

KELLYTON

On June 20th Deputies and Kellyton EMS were dispatched to Coosa County Road 85 for a medical call.  Subject was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On June 23rd Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

RICHVILLE

On June 21st Deputies were dispatched to Old Salter Community Road after receiving a report of a domestic dispute.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

ROCKFORD

On June 19th Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 120 after receiving a report of Burglary.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On June 20th Deputies, Kellyton EMS, Rockford Fire, Hanover Fire, Weogufka Fire and ALEA responded to US Highway 231 after receiving a report of a motor vehicle accident.  One subject was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.  The scene was turned over to ALEA for investigation.

On June 21st Deputies were dispatched to Hill Street after receiving a report of Theft by Deception.  A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On June 24th Deputies and Kellyton EMS were dispatched to Murphy Sawyer Drive for a medical call.  Subject was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

EQUALITY

On June 21st Deputies, Ray Fire, Kellyton EMS and ALEA were dispatched to Al Highway 259 after receiving a report of a motor vehicle accident.  Scene was turned over to ALEA and the Coosa County Coroner for further investigations.

On June 25th Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 259 after receiving a report of a civil disturbance.  No report was required.

RAY

On June 21st Deputies were dispatched to County Road 91 after receiving a report of a private property accident.  Information was gathered for a report.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT

On June 19th Deputies were dispatched to Flag Mountain after receiving a report of a civil dispute.  The offender left the premises and no report was required.
