ARRESTS

On June 12th Deputy Burke arrested Melvin Ray Feagins from Birmingham, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay/Attempting to Elude, Resisting Arrest, Reckless Endangerment, Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Speeding. He was processed and released on a Personal Recognizance Bond to await trial.

On June 13th Deputy Jones arrested Joseph Earl Whitman from Clanton, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On June 13th Lt. Hammond arrested Brittany Rena Mizzell from Sylacauga, AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Identity Theft. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $10,000 bond to await trial.

On June 13th Lt. Hammond arrested Matthew Wayne Avery from Sylacauga, AL. on Grand Jury Indictments for Theft of Property 1st and Criminal Trespass 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $12,500 bond to await trial.

On June 13th Lt. Hammond arrested Scott William McCook Jr. from Goodwater, AL. on Grand Jury Indictments for Burglary 3rd and Criminal Mischief 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $20,000 bond to await trial.

On June 13th Lt. Hammond arrested Seth Adam Thompson from Childersburg, AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $10,000 bond to await trial.

On June 13th Corporal Moon arrested Corey Allen Hosey from Rockford, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On June 14th Deputy House arrested Nicholis Davis Embry from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Non-Support of a Child. He was processed and released after payment was made to the Department of Human Resources.

On June 15th Lt. Keel arrested Michael Chadwick Grubb from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Theft of Property 3rd and Criminal Trespass 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $6000 bond to await trial.

On June 15th Deputy House arrested William Steven Flint III from Stewartville, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and released on a Personal Recognizance Bond to await trial.

On June 16th Lt. Keel arrested William Steven Flint Jr. from Stewartville, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and released on a Personal Recognizance Bond to await trial.

On June 16th Deputy Jones arrested Quintin David Bracklin from Marbury, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Fishing without a License. He was processed and released after fines were paid.

On June 17th Lt. Burke arrested Robert Drew McLaughlin from Goodwater, AL. on the charge of Driving under the Influence. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2500 bond to await trial.

On June 17th Deputy Jones arrested Makayla Danielle Wells from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Speeding. She was processed and released on a $100 bond to await trial.

MARBLE VALLEY

On June 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Kelly Lane after receiving a report of an Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

STEWARTVILLE

On June 12th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 78 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On June 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

WEOGUFKA

On June 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Ferguson Road after receiving a report of someone Shooting Into an Occupied Vehicle. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On June 17th Weogufka and Stewartville First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On June 17th Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy was dispatched to Oak Tree Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

HANOVER

On June 13th Hanover and Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.

KELLYTON

On June 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

On June 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 324 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

On June 17th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Gin House Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On June 17th Kellyton Medics and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 87 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One subject was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

RICHVILLE

On June 17th Rockford and Weogufka First Responders, Haynes Ambulance and Life Flight, and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a possible drowning victim. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

On June 18th Weogufka First Responders and Haynes Ambulance and Life Flight were dispatched to CR 459 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery.

ROCKFORD

On June 16th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On June 17th Rockford and Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.

On June 18th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

On June 18th Hanover First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

EQUALITY

On June 16th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Theft by Deception. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

RAY

On June 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

LAKE MARTIN

On June 14th Equality First Responders, Kellyton Medics, and a Deputy were dispatched to Chapman Creek Road after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

On June 17th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Parker Creek Marina after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On June 12th a Deputy was dispatched to the Underwater Bridge Road after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

SMYRNA

On June 12th Lt. Burke attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
