ARRESTS

On July 6th Sheriff Howell arrested Raymond B. Thomas from Sylacauga, Al., on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $2,500 bond to await trial

On July 6th Deputy Dawson arrested Steve Alan Marbury from Goodwater, Al., on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and booked into the County Jail with no bond to await trial.

On July 7th Deputy Fenn arrested Billy Jean Jordan from Alexander City, Al., on the charge of Disorderly Conduct. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $500 bond to await trial.

On July 7th Deputy Fenn arrested Casie Jane Ellis from Montgomery, Al., on a warrant for Failure to Appear/ Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. She was processed and booked into the County Jail with no bond to await trial.

On July 8th Deputy Ward arrested Quinterria Ronshae Wyckoff from Jackson Gap, Al., on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Improper Lane Usage. She was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $1,000 bond to await trial.

On July 8th Deputy Reed arrested Anthony Eugene Lewis from Alexander City, Al., on warrant for Failure to Appear/ Non Support of a Child. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $2,500 bond to await trial.

On July 8th Deputy Ward arrested Charity Lynn Hamilton from Sylacauga, Al., on the charges of Chemical Endangerment of a Child x2. She was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $20,000 bond to await trial.

On July 9th Corporal Moon arrested Timothy Ryan Dupree from Sylacauga, Al., on the charge of Chemical Endangerment of a Child x2. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $20,000 bond to await trial.

MARBLE  VALLEY

On July 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Red Robin Road after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined it to be disabled.

STEWARTVILLE

On July 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined the alarm to be false.

On July 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.

On July 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined the alarm to be false.

WEOGUFKA

On July 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On July 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On July 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined everything to be ok.

HANOVER

On July 7th Hanover and Stewartville First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On July 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.

On July 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

KEYNO

On July 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

 

 

 

GOODWATER

On July 6th Kenneth Ray Swindell a convicted Sex Offender who resides on Queen Street reported to the Sheriff’s Department to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON

On July 6th Deputies and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On July 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Jordan Lodge Road after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Coroner.

On July 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On July 7th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On July 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On July 12th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

ROCKFORD

On July 6th Deputy Fenn attended the Union Square Neighborhood Watch Meeting, where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

On July 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On July 8th a Deputy was dispatched to Nixburg Road after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined the alarm to be false.

COTTAGE GROVE

On July 10th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 93 after receiving a report of Trespassing. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

 

 

 

 

EQUALITY

On July 6th Haynes Ambulance was dispatched to CR 33 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On July 8th Equality First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One was air lifted to Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery, and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On July 9th Equality First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 2 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

RAY

On July 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 322 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On July 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke with both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

SMYRNA

On July 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
