JAIL POPULATION AS OF July 11th (31 MALES & 6 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 37 INMATES

 

ARRESTS

On July 5th, Deputy Bradberry arrested Jacob Elijah Robinson of Weogufka, Al for Driving Under the Influence. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $2,000 bond.

On July 7th, Corporal Moon arrested Sebastion Paul Cunningham of Notsulga, Al for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Controlled Substance. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $7,500 bond.

On July 7th, Corporal Moon arrested Rebekah Lynn Short of Tallassee, Al for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Controlled Substance. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $7,500 bond.

On Jul y 8th, Deputy Scott arrested Katlyn Symone Leonard of Eclectic, Al for Driving Under the Influence. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $2,000 bond.

On July 7th, Deputy Middlebrooks arrested Steven Wayne Williams of Ashland, Al for Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Failure to Appear/ Operating Vehicle without Insurance, Switched Tag, and Driving While Suspended. He was processed into the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office on a $3,000 bond.

On July 10th, Deputy Scott arrested Arron Lenard Jackson of Alexander City, Al for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $2,000 bond.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On July 5th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a suspicious person.  Deputy patrolled area and had negative contact with suspicious person. Extra patrol was conducted in the area.

On July 6th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 39 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was taken and case is under investigation.

On July 10th, Deputies were dispatched to US HWY 280 after receiving a report of a commercial burglar alarm. Deputy checked business and determined alarm to be false.

On July 10th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. Deputy spoke with all subjects involved and situation was resolved without a report.

KELLYTON

On July 5th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 42 after receiving a report of an unwanted guest. Deputy spoke with all parties and situation was resolved without a report.

On July 5th, Kellyton Medics, Deputies and the Coosa County Coroner were dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a death. The scene was turned over to the coroner for investigation.

On July 6th, Deputies and Alabama State Troopers were dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a report of a motor vehicle accident. Scene was turned over to Troopers for investigation.

On July 6th, Deputies were dispatched Long Tree Lane after receiving a request for a welfare check. Deputy made contact with resident and everything was ok.

On July 6th, Deputies were dispatched CR 89 after receiving a request for a welfare check. Deputy made contact with resident and everything was ok.

On July 7th, Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 280 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was taken and case is under investigation.

ON July 9th, Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 280 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. Deputy spoke with persons involved and no report was necessary.

On July 9th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a Sexual Misconduct. A report was taken and case is under investigation.

ROCKFORD

On July 5th, Deputies were dispatched CR 40 after receiving a request for a welfare check. Deputy made contact with resident and everything was ok.

On July 10th, Deputies were dispatched to US HWY 231 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. Deputy spoke with all subjects involved and situation was resolved without a report.

EQUALITY

On July 7th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 51 after receiving a report of a commercial burglar alarm. Deputy checked business and determined alarm to be false.

On July 10th, Deputies were dispatched to Oat Rd after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and determined alarm to be false.

RAY

On July 6th, Deputies and Alabama State Troopers were dispatched to AL Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a motor vehicle accident. Scene was released to Troopers for investigation.

On July 10th, Deputies were dispatched CR 63 after receiving a request for a welfare check. Deputy made contact with resident and everything was ok.

GOODWATER

On July 7th, Kenneth Ray Swindell, a resident of Queen St Goodwater, Al reported to the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office to update his Sex Offender Registration Status.

On July 7th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 115 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was taken and case is under investigation.

LAKE MITCHELL

On July 6th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 121 after receiving a report of Trespassing. Deputy spoke with persons involved and situation was resolved without a report.

LAKE MARTIN

On July 5th, Deputies were dispatched to Easy St after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and determines alarm to be false.

On July 6th, Deputies and Alabama State Troopers were dispatched to CR 2 after receiving a report of a motor vehicle accident. Scene was turned over to Troopers for investigation.

On July 6th, Deputies were dispatched to Hummingbird Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and alarm was determined to be false.

RICHVILLE

On July 10th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. Deputy spoke with all subjects involved and situation was resolved without a report.

COTTAGE GROVE

On July 6th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 93 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. Deputies had no contact with anyone arguing.
