On January 9th, Investigator Ward arrested Morgan Elaine Whetstone, a citizen of Sylacauga, Alabama, on the charge of Theft of Property 1st. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $15,000 bond.

On January 9th, Investigator Ward arrested Tony Randall Higgins, a citizen of Gadsden, Alabama, on the charges of Theft of Property 1st, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Stolen Property, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $37,500 bond.

On January 10th, Deputy Overton arrested William Joseph Wells, a citizen of Rockford, Alabama, on the charge of Domestic Violence by Strangulation. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $5000 bond.

On January 11th, Deputy Reed arrested Terry Lawrence Chambers, a citizen of Sylacauga, Alabama, on the charge of Failure to Pay. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $372.40 cash bond.

On January 12th, Investigator Ward arrested Donald Cameron Hodnett, a citizen of Talladega, Alabama, on the charge of Probation Violation. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.

On January 14th, Deputy Overton arrested Deunate Tarez Jews, a citizen of Childersburg, Alabama, on the charge of Failure to Appear in Court. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $1,200 purge.

On January 10th, Deputies were dispatched to Holly Springs Road after receiving reports of Criminal Mischief. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

STEWARTVILLE

On January 11th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Negative contact was made; no report needed.

On January 11th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 68 after receiving reports of Domestic Violence. A report was taken and the case is under investigation. 

On January 11th, Deputies were dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after receiving a request for a welfare check. The subject was okay; no report needed.

On January 11th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 49 after receiving reports of a vehicle accident. No report was wanted or needed.

On January 12th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies assisted the motorist.

KELLYTON

On January 8th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 40 after receiving reports of Trespassing. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On January 9th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 85 after receiving reports of a civil dispute. After deputies arrived, it was determined a report was not wanted or needed.

On January 12th, Deputies were dispatched to Trailer Park Road after receiving reports of lost property. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On January 13th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 65 after receiving reports of a civil dispute. After deputies arrived, it was determined a report was not wanted or needed.

On January 14th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 85 after receiving reports of an unwanted person. Deputies determined it was a civil matter and advised the caller of next steps.

RICHVILLE

On January 8th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 112 after receiving a request for a civil service. Deputies assisted with a civil standby.
