JAIL POPULATION AS OF JAN.13 (22 MALES & 7 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 29 INMATES

ARRESTS

On January 7th Captain Hammond arrested Matthew Scott Pettus from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and released on a $5,000 bond to await trial.

On January 8th Deputy Richardson arrested Steven Dean McClellan from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Reckless Driving, Open Container, Failure to Wear Seat Belt, Driving While Revoked and Attempting to Elude. He was processed and released on a $ 6,500 bond to await trial.

On January 8th Deputy Jones arrested Dossie Edward McKinney from Vincent, AL. on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and released on a $ 4,000 bond to await trial.

On January 9th Deputy Richardson arrested Michael Wayne Cleveland from Alexander City, AL. on the charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $2,000 bond to await trial.

On January 9th Deputy Richardson arrested Timothy Lynn Cleveland from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment. He was processed and released on a $1,000 bond to await trial.

On January 9th Deputy Richardson arrested Joe Randy Harrell Jr. from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Non-Support of a Child. He was processed and released after payment was made to the Department of Human Resources.

On January 10th Deputy Rudd arrested Charles Robert Dyal II from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Attempting to Elude, Carrying a Pistol Without a Permit, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $17,000 bond to await trial.

On January 11th Deputy Jones arrested Demetrius Lashun Adair from Goodwater, AL. on the charge of Attempting to Elude. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,500 bond to await trial.

On January 11th Deputy Jones arrested Travis Dean Shaw from Goodwater , AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance and the charge of Attempting to Elude. He was processed and released on a $ 3,500 bond to await trial.

On January 12th Deputy Richardson arrested Justin Anthony Wilson from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Attempting to Elude, Carrying a Pistol without a Permit, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $35,000 bond to await trial.

On January 12th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Jeremiah Larry Golden from Kellyton, AL. on the charge of Attempting to Elude. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,500 bond to await trial.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On January 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 68 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined everything to be ok.

On January 7th Kellyton Medics and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 68 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On January 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a request for a welfare check. Deputy completed the welfare check and determined the subject to be ok.

On January 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report from a resident stating they heard gunshots close to their residence. The Deputy completed a report for shooting into an occupied dwelling and the case is under investigation.

On January 13th Stewartville First Responders and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 53 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

WEOGUFKA

On January 10th Weogufka Fire Department was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a report of a brush fire. Fire was extinguished without incidence.

On January 10th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 55 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no injuries reported and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On January 10th Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 56 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

HANOVER

On January 11th Hanover First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 154 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

MOUNT OLIVE

On January 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 123 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

GOODWATER

On January 10th Jeremy Lee Emfinger a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 9 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON

On January 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 126 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and could not locate the person.

On January 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On January 13th Kellyton Medics and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 50 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On January 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the roadway. The Deputy located the subject and he was arrested on the charge of attempting to elude.

RICHVILLE

On January 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 14 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

ROCKFORD

On January 7th Deputy Jones attended the Union Square monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

On January 7th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a two-vehicle accident. There were no injuries and the scene turned over to the Trooper.

On January 13th Rockford First Responders were dispatched to Turner Hill after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.

EQUALITY

On January 11th Equality Fire Department was dispatched to CR 33 after receiving a report of a residential fire alarm. They checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On January 12th Equality First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 98 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

RAY

On January 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 362 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and one subject was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and the other subject was arrested for having an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant.

LAKE MARTIN

On January 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Robin Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

On January 11th Equality First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Beaver Cove after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On January 9th Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 55 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

LAKE MITCHELL

On January 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Eagle Mountain Road after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. The Deputy completed a report and the case is under investigation.
