JAIL POPULATION AS OF FEBRUARY 3 (26 MALES & 6 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 32 INMATES

ARRESTS

On January 29th Deputy Rudd arrested Cedrick Bernard Moore from Goodwater, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Expired Tag, Driving While Revoked and Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and released on a $ 3,000 bond to await trial.

On January 30th Captain Hammond arrested Magen Leigh Fowler from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Receiving Stolen Property. She was processed and released on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.

On January 30th Deputy Cook arrested Quajuana Vashainai Johnson from Talladega, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Speeding and Failure to Display Insurance. She was processed and released on a $2,000 bond to await trial.

On February 1st Deputy Moon arrested Michael Blade Masterson from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Speeding. He was processed and released after fines were paid.

On February 1st Deputy Richardson arrested Clifford Dewayne Russell from Wetumpka, AL. on the charge of Possession of Marijuana 1st. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $ 15,000 bond to await trial.

On February 1st Deputy Rudd arrested Christopher Corey Slagle from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On February 3rd Deputy Davenport arrested Kenneth Hunter Sullivan from Shorter, AL. on the charge of Public Intoxication. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 500 bond to await trial.

On February 3rd Deputy Davenport arrested Thomas Wade Honeycutt from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Public Intoxication. He was processed and released on a $ 500 bond to await trial.

On February 3rd Deputy Rudd arrested Michael Joe Bedford from Talladega, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Driving While Suspended and Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

 

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

On January 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 5 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

STEWARTVILLE

On January 28th Stewartville First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On January 30th A Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

On January 31st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that it was disabled.

On February 1st Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

On February 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On February 2nd Stewartville First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 56 after receiving a report of one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On February 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hardy Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On February 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 74 after receiving a report of a civil disturbance. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and two subjects were arrested for Public Intoxication.

WEOGUFKA

On February 3rd Weogufka First Responders, a Deputy, Sylacauga Ambulance and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

HANOVER

On January 28th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On January 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and one of them agreed to leave the residence for the night.

On January 31st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 75 after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.

On February 2nd Hanover First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 131 after receiving a report of a one vehicle that had overturned. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper, and EMA HazMat Team to contain the fuel spillage.

On February 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and explained the civil process.

GOODWATER

On February 3rd a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 111 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There was one fatality and the scene was turned over to the Trooper and Coroner.

KELLYTON

On January 28th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 85 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On January 30th Kellyton and Goodwater Fire Departments were dispatched to CR 130 after receiving a report of a structure fire. The Fire was extinguished without incident.

On January 30th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 280 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On February 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Trailer Park Road after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy spoke to the person and determined that they were ok.

On February 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On February 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On February 3rd Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 87 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. Two people were transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

ROCKFORD

On February 1st Goodwater Medics were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On February 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

On February 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

On February 3rd a Deputy and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 40 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

On February 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the roadway. The Deputy located the subject and transported him to the county line.

EQUALITY

On January 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 51 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On January 31st a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of criminal mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On February 1st Equality Fire Department was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

On February 2nd Equality First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to CR 98 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

RAY

On January 31st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 72 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On February 1st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 71 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

LAKE MITCHELL

On January 31st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On February 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Pody Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
