On February 6th, Sergeant Rudd arrested Delma Carlton Silmon Sr., a citizen of Goodwater, Alabama, on the charge of Failure to Appear in Court. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.

On February 6th, Chief Hammond arrested Joshua Lashawn Dawson, a citizen of Goodwater, Alabama, on the charge of Failure to Appear in Court. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.

On February 8th, Deputy Williams arrested Samuel James Smoot, a citizen of Kellyton, Alabama, on the charges of Failure to Appear in Court. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $1,483 cash bond.

On February 10th, Deputy Overton arrested Ryan DeAnthony Nix, a citizen of Alexander City, Alabama, on the charge of Failure to Appear in Court. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a$400 cash bond.

On February 9th, Deputies were dispatched to Chapter Three Circle after receiving reports of lost property. No report wanted or needed.

STEWARTVILLE

On February 5th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a missing person. Subject was located and returned home. Deputies spoke with the caller and no report was needed at this time.

On February 7th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies transported the subject to the county line.

On February 8th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 53 after receiving a request for a welfare check. Subject left the property prior to Deputies arrival.

On February 10th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 112 after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies advised negative contact was made.

HANOVER

On February 5th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a commercial burglar alarm. The alarm was determined to be false; no report needed.

On February 6th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies advised no assistance was needed.

On February 6th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 75 after receiving reports of drug activity. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On February 6th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 49 after receiving a request for a welfare check. Deputies advised the subject was fine.

On February 9th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 116 after receiving reports of an unresponsive resident. Deputies arrived on scene and requested the Coosa County Coroner be dispatched.

GOODWATER

On February 7th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 9 after receiving a request for a welfare check. Deputies advised the subject was fine.

KELLYTON

On February 7th, Deputies were dispatched to Jordan Lodge after receiving reports of a residential burglar alarm. The alarm was determined to be false; no report needed.

On February 10th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 48 after receiving reports of an Assault. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On February 10th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies advised negative contact was made.

On February 5th, Deputies were dispatched to the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office when a citizen requested to file a report regarding interfering with child custody dispute. A report was taken and the case is under investigation. 

On February 6th, Deputies were dispatched to Circle Drive after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies advised no assistance was needed.

COTTAGE GROVE/ HISSOP

On February 6th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 259 after receiving reports of Fraud. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

EQUALITY

On February 6th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 20 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies made contact with the subject and it was determined the subject was ok.
