JAIL POPULATION AS OF FEBRUARY 10 (27 MALES & 5 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 32 INMATES

ARRESTS

On February 5th Deputy Jones arrested William Christopher Butler from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st and Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 6,000 bond to await trial.

On February 7th Deputy Richardson arrested Emerson Lamar Hamilton from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Driving While Revoked. He was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On February 7th Deputy Davenport arrested Rodney Allen Sandlin from Ashland, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/ Driving While Suspended. He was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On February 8th Deputy Richardson arrested Omar Leonardo Ayala Barahona from Alexander City, AL. on an order for a 48-hour Drug Court Sanction. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to serve the sanction.

On February 8th Deputy Jones arrested Harley Wayne Johnston from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Speeding and Failure to Register Vehicle. He was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

On February 10th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Christopher Eugene Hart from Montgomery, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Speeding and Driving While Suspended. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

On February 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Kelly Lane after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy spoke to the person and determined that they were ok.

STEWARTVILLE

On February 4th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 66 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and explained the civil process.

On February 4th Stewartville Fire Department, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 55 near CR 29 after receiving a report of a vehicle fire. The fire was extinguished and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On February 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On February 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Gooden Lane after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that it was disabled.

On February 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Rustling Pines Lane after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. The Deputy patrolled the area and located the source of problems without incident.

On February 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On February 7th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to CR 41 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On February 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Gilliland Lane after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

On February 10th Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to CR 41 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

WEOGUFKA

On February 7th Weogufka First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On February 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

On February 10th Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 15 after a resident requested medical assistance the resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

HANOVER

On February 6th Hanover First Responders were dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.

On February 8TH a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the roadway. The Deputy located the person and assisted them by transporting them to the county line to help them on their way.

MOUNT OLIVE

On February 8th a Deputy was dispatched to Sky View Lane after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On February 8th Goodwater Fire Department and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a structure fire. The fire was extinguished and a report was completed to be turned over to the State Fire Marshall.

On February 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.

KEYNO

On February 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 71 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

GOODWATER

On February 4th Steve Allen Marbury a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 511 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON

On February 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On February 7th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 85 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On February 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 81 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On February 8th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined that everything was ok.

On February 9th Kellyton Fire Department was dispatched to CR 71 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

RICHVILLE

On February 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On February 7th Deputy Davenport attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

ROCKFORD

On February 4th Deputy Cook attended the Union Square Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

On February 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and explained the civil process.

On February 8th Rockford and Ray Fire Departments were dispatched to Shelly Riggans Road after receiving a report of brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

EQUALITY

On February 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On February 10th Haynes Ambulance was dispatched to CR 98 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

RAY

On February 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On February 10th Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 15 after a resident requested medical assistance the resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

LAKE MITCHELL

On February 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that it was disabled.
