JAIL POPULATION AS OF MARCH 3 (26 MALES & 4 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 30 INMATES

ARRESTS

On February 25th Deputy Rudd arrested Christopher Carlton Strawbridge from Kellyton, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear / Negotiating a Worthless Instrument x17 and Theft of Property 2nd. He was processed and released on a $4500 bond to await trial.

On February 25th Deputy Rudd arrested James Patrick Nettle from Gallatin, TN. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Assault 1st. He was processed and released on a $ 25,000 bond to await trial.

On February 26th Deputy Keel arrested Jamison Scott Salter from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/ Driving While Revoked and Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $2000 bond to await trial.

On February 27th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Dossie Edward McKinney from Vincent, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/ Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st, Improper Tail Lights and No Tag /Utility Trailer. He was processed and released on a $ 4000 bond to await trial.

On February 27th Deputy Jones arrested Joseph Patrick Tumlin from Ashland, AL. on warrants for Violation of Conditional Release Order x2. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond.

On February 27th Deputy Jones arrested Matthew Krebs Chaviers from Childersburg, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On February 28th Deputy Jones arrested Mario Dvohyn Sanders from Pell City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/ Speeding, Expired Tag and Driving While Revoked. He was processed and released on a $3000 bond to await trial.

On February 28th Captain Hammond arrested Sylvonta Dvon Mays Jr. from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $15,000 bond to await trial.

On February 28th Corporal Moon arrested Deashia Leshaey Miles from Sylacauga, AL. on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Reckless Endangerment and Attempted Murder. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on an $82,000 bond to await trial.

On March 1st Deputy Keel arrested Leadam Quintez Kelly from Goodwater, AL. on warrants for Trafficking Cocaine x2. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $100,000 bond to await trial.

On March 1st Deputy Keel arrested Deon Ortaetveo Gaddis from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Trafficking Cocaine. He was processed and released on a $ 50,000 bond to await trial.

On March 1st Captain Hammond arrested Tyreese Omar Hicks from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Selling/Distribution of Controlled Substance, and Trafficking Cocaine x2.  He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $150,000 bond to await trial.

On March 1st Deputy Keel arrested Clifford Dewayne Russell from Wetumpka, AL. on warrants for Possession of Marijuana 1st and Violation of a Conditional Release Order. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $50.000 bond to await trial.

On March 3rd Deputy Davenport arrested Michael Legion Bass from Kelly ton, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

 

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

On March 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. A report was completed and the civil process was explained.

STEWARTVILLE

On February 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Ferguson Road after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

On February 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 39 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the subject that was causing the problems left the residence without incident.

On February 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 68 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On February 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

WEOGUFKA

On February 27th Weogufka and Stewartville First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 55 after receiving a report of a 2-vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On February 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the subject and they were transported to the county line to help them on their way.

On March 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Quail Trail after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment and the warrant process was explained.

HANOVER

On February 27th Hanover First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On February 28th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On March 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

KEYNO

On February 25th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a one-vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

KELLYTON

On February 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the roadway. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

On February 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 115 after receiving a report of an unwanted person at a residence. The Deputy spoke to the person causing the problems and they left the residence without incident.

On March 2nd Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 87 after receiving a report of a two-vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

ROCKFORD

On February 28th Rockford and Stewartville First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On March 1st Rockford First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to School Street after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On March 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

EQUALITY

On February 26th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On February 28th Deputy Cook attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

RAY

On March 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Thomas Road after receiving a report of Criminal Littering.  A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On March 2nd Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 near CR 91 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

LAKE MARTIN

On March 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Oakachoy Aerie Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

LAKE MITCHELL

On February 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Pody Lane after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
