JAIL POPULATION AS OF FEB. 17(27 MALES & 5 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 32 INMATES

ARRESTS

On February 11th Deputy Richardson arrested Carey Jason Hand from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Non-Support of a Child. He was processed and released on a court order after payment was made to the Department of Human Resources.

On February 12th Deputy Richardson arrested Joshua Scott Thomas from Prattville, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st, Reckless Endangerment and Attempting to Elude. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 30,000 bond to await trial.

On February 15th Deputy Richardson arrested Joshua Glenn Saffold from Goodwater, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 15,000 bond to await trial.

On February 16th Deputy Davenport arrested Richard Keith Tucker from Goodwater, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and released on a $ 20,000 bond to await trial.

On February 16th Deputy Rudd arrested Gregory Gleen Faulkner Jr. from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On February 11th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 74 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On February 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Harvest Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On February 12th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 150 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On February 12th Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to McKinney Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.

On February 13th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 68 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to LifeSaver Air Evac and airlifted to UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

On February 13th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On February 13th Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On February 15th a Deputy was dispatched to McKinney Drive after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved after one of them left the residence.

On February 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Ferguson Road after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the subject and a report was completed after the person was arrested on the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On February 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. After speaking to both parties a report was completed for Menacing and the warrant process was explained.

HANOVER

On February 12th Hanover First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On February 13th Hanover, Stewartville, Rockford and Marble Valley Fire Departments were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a structure fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

On February 14th Sylacauga Ambulance and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On February 15th Hanover and Stewartville First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 75 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center by a person vehicle and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

MOUNT OLIVE

On February 15th Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to CR 38 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

KELLYTON

On February 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 71 after receiving a request for a funeral escort.  The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On February 12th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On February 13th Kellyton Medics and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 50 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On February 14th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 near Hwy 115 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On February 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 81 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and the issue was resolved after the subject causing the problems had left the residence.

On February 15th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 77 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On February 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the subject and after a brief investigation the subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

On February 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On February 17th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On February 17th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 81 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. After a brief investigation a report was completed for reckless endangerment and the warrant process was explained.

RICHVILLE

On February 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 14 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On February 17th Richville First Responders were dispatched to CR 459 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.

ROCKFORD

On February 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 129 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On February 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and located the vehicle which he determined that everything was ok.

EQUALITY

On February 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

On February 16th Equality First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 259 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

LAKE MARTIN

On February 15th a deputy was dispatched to Sunflower Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On February 17th a Deputy was dispatched to Oat Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

SMYRNA

On February 11th Deputy Rudd attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
