On December 6th, Investigator Ward arrested Tyrese Omar Hicks of Sylacauga, AL on the charge of Promoting Prison Contraband 1st. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $5000 bond.
STEWARTVILLE
On December 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 35 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The owner was reached and the vehicle was towed.
On December 4, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving a report of a vehicle accident. No injuries were reported, and scene was turned over to ALEA.
On December 9, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 41 after receiving a report of Burglary. It was determined by the owner that the house had not been broken into and no report was wanted/needed.
On December 9, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 41 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The situation was resolved and a report was taken.
WEOGUFKA
On December 5, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 29 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The dispute was resolved and no report was wanted/needed.
On December 8, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 29 after receiving a report of a vehicle accident. Vehicle owner did not want a report and the vehicle was towed by a family member.
On December 9, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 183 after receiving a report of child abuse. A report was taken and the case is currently under investigation.
HANOVER
On December 8, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County High School after receiving a report of a civil disturbance. Deputies were able to resolve the disturbance and no report was wanted/needed.

On December 7, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 49 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was taken of the incident for information purposes only.
KELLYTON
On December 3, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 85 after receiving a report of Trespassing. Negative contact was made with the homeowner.
On December 3, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. Subject was advised to stay off the roadway and no report was taken.
On December 5, Deputies were dispatched to Hayes Street after receiving a report of an unwanted person. Subject left the property and no report was taken.
On December 6, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 9 after receiving a report of a vehicle accident. 2 subjects were transported to the hospital and the scene was turned over to ALEA.
ROCKFORD
On December 8, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 22 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is currently under investigation.

COTTAGE GROVE/ HISSOP
On December 4, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 22 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is currently under investigation.
On December 4, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 93 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. Negative contact was made with one of the parties and subject was informed to call back if other party returned.

On December 5, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 9 after receiving a report of a vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to ALEA.
