ARRESTS

On August 23rd, Deputy Scott arrested Tondrolicus Lotrovis Golden, a citizen of Alexander City, AL for Failure to Appear in Court. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $1,000 bond.

On August 24th, Deputy Scott arrested Lyle Scott Cleveland, a citizen of Sylacauga, AL for Probation Violation. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.

On August 24th, Deputy Scott arrested Christopher Corey Slagle, a citizen of Sylacauga, AL for Failure to Appear in Court and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.

On August 24th, Scott arrested Billy Joe Gray, a citizen of Goodwater, AL for Public Intoxication. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $500 bond.

On August 26th, Cook arrested Hoperia Stevece Johnson, a citizen of Alexander City, AL for Criminal Trespassing 1st and Criminal Mischief 2nd. She was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $5,000 bond.

On August 27th, Deputy Mitchell arrested Ronnie Ray Jones, a citizen of Alexander City, AL for Domestic Violence 3rd. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On August 25th, Deputies and Stewartville Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving a report of a fire. The fire was relinquished successfully.

On August 25th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Rd 39 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. The subject left the scene prior to Deputies arrival. A report was taken and the case is currently under investigation.

HANOVER 

On August 23rd, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving a report of a disabled motorist. All parties involved were assisted.

GOODWATER

On August 25th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Rd 111 after receiving a report of a disabled motorist. All parties involved were assisted.

KELLYTON

On August 24th, Deputies were dispatched to Red Leaf Trail after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was taken and all parties dispersed without incident.

On August 26th, Deputies were dispatched to McClellan Road after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On August 26th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after a report of a hot pursuit. The vehicle wrecked during the pursuit and a foot pursuit ensued. Subject ran into a wooded area and the case was turned over to the agency in that jurisdiction.

On August 27th, Deputies were dispatched to Trailer Park Road after receiving a report of a littering. The litter was disposed of successfully.

RICHVILLE

On August 21st, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 3 after receiving a report of a vehicle alarm. Deputies arrived at the residence, spoke with the owner and determined the alarm to be set off accidently.

On August 23rd, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was asleep on the side of the road and was given a verbal warning to move along.

ROCKFORD

On August 22nd, Deputies, Rockford Police Department, Coosa EMS, Childersburg Search and Rescue Squad and Richville Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to Coosa County Road 18 after receiving a medical call  of a person who was short of breathe in a field. The individual was located by a Coosa County Deputy and immediately taken to the Coosa Valley Emergency Room for medical evaluation and treatment.

On August 26th, Deputies, Coosa EMS, Goodwater EMS, Rockford Volunteer Fire Department and Haynes Life Flight were dispatched to AL Highway 22 after receiving a report of a vehicle accident. One subject involved in the accident was transported by Life Flight and the other subject was transported by Goodwater EMS to Coosa Valley Medical Center. The scene was turned over to ALEA.

EQUALITY

On August 26th, Deputies, Coosa EMS, Equality Volunteer Fire Department, Ray Volunteer Fire Department and Rockford Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to AL Highway 9 after receiving a report of a vehicle accident. The subject was transported to Russell Medical Center for medical treatment.

On August 27th, Deputies and Coosa EMS were dispatched to Coosa County Rd 307 after receiving a report of an unresponsive individual. The Coosa County Coroner was notified and the individual was pronounced deceased on scene.

On August 27th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 9 after receiving a report of a suspicious person.  Negative contact was made.

RAY

On August 25th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 22 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was taken and all parties involved dispersed without incident.
