ARRESTS

On April 4th, Deputy Scott arrested April Tasha-Butler Smith, a resident of Rockford, AL for Theft of Property 4th. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $2500 bond.

On April 5th, Deputy Scott arrested Justin Obrien Hall, a resident of Talladega, AL for Failure to Appear in court. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $1000 bond.

On April 5th, Investigator Hammonds arrested Clarence Thomas Jr., a resident of Alexander City, AL for Theft of Property 4th. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $2500 bond.

On April 7th, Sgt. Rudd arrested Donald Percy Boyd, a resident of Verbena, AL for Harassment. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $2000 bond.

MARBLE VALLEY

On April 6th, Sylacauga EMS was dispatched to Coosa County Road 5 after receiving a request for medical assistance. Subject was transported to Coosa Valley ER.

STEWARTVILLE

On April 6th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 68 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On April 7th, Sylacauga EMS and Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to Coosa County Road 39 after receiving a request for medical assistance.  Subject was assisted; no transport needed.

On April 7th, Deputies were dispatched to Wilson Lane after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On April 7th, Deputies were dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after receiving a report of a civil dispute. A report was made and the case is under investigation.

WEOGUFKA

On April 6th, Deputies were dispatched to Roberts Lane after receiving an animal call. Bulls were recovered, returned to their pen; no further action needed.

HANOVER

On April 4th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 75 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was made and the case is under investigation.

KENYO

On April 6th, Kellyton EMS and Ray First Responders were dispatched to Gates Drive after receiving a request for medical assistance. Subject was transported to Russell Medical Center.

GOODWATER

On April 6th, Kenneth Ray Swindell, a resident of Goodwater, AL reported to Lt. Moon at the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office to update his Sex Offender Registration information.

On April 9th, Deputies, Kellyton EMS, and ALEA were dispatched to US Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a vehicle accident. Scene was turned over to ALEA.

KELLYTON

On April 3rd, Deputies, Hanover First Responders, Goodwater EMS and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) were dispatched to US Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a vehicle accident. No transport needed. Scene was turned over to ALEA.

On April 3rd, Gabriel Todd Shannon, a resident of Kellyton, AL reported to Lt. Moon at the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office to update his Sex Offender Registration information.

On April 3rd, Kellyton EMS was dispatched on a medical call to Coosa County Road 50 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On April 3rd, Deputies, Kellyton EMS and First Responders, Goodwater EMS and ALEA were dispatched to McClellan Road after receiving a report of a vehicle accident. Subjects were transported to Russell Medical Center.

On April 5th, Goodwater EMS was dispatched to Long Tree Drive after receiving a request for medical assistance. Subject was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On April 5th, Kellyton EMS was dispatched to AL State Hwy 9 at US Hwy 280 after receiving a request for medical assistance. Subject was transported to UAB.

RICHVILLE

On April 5th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 29 after receiving a request for a welfare check. Subject was found to be safe; no further action needed.

On April 6th, Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a vehicle accident. Deputies assisted the motorist and vehicle was taken off roadway.

On April 7th, Deputies, Kellyton EMS and Richville First Responders were dispatched to AL State Hwy 22 after receiving a request for medical assistance. Subject was assisted; no transport needed.

ROCKFORD

On April 5th, Deputies were dispatched to Washington Street after receiving a report of Harassment by Communications. A report was made and the case is under investigation.

On April 6rd, Deputies, Marble Valley First Responders, EMA 1 and ALEA were dispatched to Coosa County Road 18 after receiving a report of a vehicle accident. Roadway was cleared; no further action needed.

COTTAGE GROVE/ HISSOP

On April 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 133 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On April 4th, Deputies, Kellyton EMS, Hanover First Responders and Rockford Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to Coosa County Road 133 after receiving a resident requested medical assistance. Subject was assisted; no transport needed.

On April 5th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 133 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. A report was made and the case is under investigation.

On April 8th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 133 after receiving a report of Harassment by Communications. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

On April 9th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 133 after receiving a report of a domestic in progress. All partied were separated, a report was taken and the case is under investigation.

EQUALITY

On April 3rd, Deputies, Richville First Responders, and ALEA were dispatched to U S Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a vehicle accident. The scene was turned over to ALEA.

On April 4th, Equality Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Coosa County Rd 14 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was assisted; no transport needed.

RAY

On April 7th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 155 after receiving an animal call. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
