JAIL POPULATION AS OF MAY 7(39 MALES & 4 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 43 INMATES

ARRESTS

On April 29th Deputy Davenport arrested Christopher Anthony Chapman from Kellyton, Al., on a warrant for Theft of Property 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $1,000 bond to await trial.

On April 30th Deputy Davenport arrested Coty Wayne Jones from Stewartville, Al., on a warrant for Theft of Property 1st and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On May 3rd Sgt. Jones arrested David Christopher Jordan from Goodwater, Al., on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Driving While Revoked/Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $7,000 bond to await trial.

On May 3rd Sgt. Jones arrested Marcus Avenger Kelly from Jacksons Gap, Al., on the charges of Possession of Control Substance and Giving a False Name to Law Enforcement. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $7,500 bond to await trial.

On May 3rd Sgt. Jones arrested Sylvia Marie Burke from Kellyton, Al., on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Giving a False Name to Law Enforcement. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $7,500 bond to await trial.

On May 3rd Sgt. Jones arrested William Lester McCullough Jr. from Pell City, Al., on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Improper Lights/No Proof of Insurance and Driving While Revoked. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a$3,000 bond to await trial.

On May 4thSgt.Jones arrested Mack Wilson White III from Sylacauga, Al., on charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance/ Possession of Marijuana 2nd/ Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st/ Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $20,000 bond to await trial

On May 5th Sgt. Jones arrested Wayne Michael Davis Jr. from Kellyton, Al., on charges of Domestic Violence 3rd/ Menacing. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $2,000 bond to await trial.

On May 5th Sgt. Jones arrested Samuel Halaway Nabors from Auburn, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

 

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

On May 5th Marble Valley First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 99 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

STEWARTVILLE

On April 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy located the subject and determined that everything was Ok.

On April 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. Deputy completed a report and the case is under investigation.

On May 1st A Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On May 3rd a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

WEOGUFKA

On May 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Willow Court after receiving a request for a Welfare Check. The Deputy located the subject and determined that everything was Ok.

HANOVER

On May 1st Kellyton Medics, Hanover and Stewartville First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. One subject was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On May 3rd Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Ben Pruitt Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On May 3rd Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to CR 75 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

MOUNT OLIVE

On April 29th Scott Alexander Nicholas a convicted Sex Offender who resides on Gamble Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On May 2nd Goodwater Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 511 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On May 4th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 123 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke with both parties and explained the Civil Process.

On May 4th Goodwater Fire Department, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

GOODWATER

On April 30th Deputies were dispatched to CR 511 to assist Goodwater Police Department at the scene of a Robbery. The scene was secured and turned over to Goodwater Police Department.

KELLYTON

On April 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. Deputy located the subject and determined everything to be Ok.

On April 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

On April 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 81 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke with both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

On May 3rd Kellyton Medics and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 87 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On May 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. Subject left prior to the Deputies arrival.

RICHVILLE

ROCKFORD

On May 1st Kellyton Medics and Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

SPEED

COTTAGE GROVE

On May 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 30 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy located the subject and determined that everything was Ok.

EQUALITY

On May 1st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 307 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

RAY

On May 1st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 133 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd /Harassment and the warrant process explained.

On May 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

On May 3rd Ray First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

LAKE MARTIN

On May 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Woodvine Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

On May 4th Ray and Equality Fire Departments were dispatched to Needle Eye Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Residence was checked and the alarm was determined to be false.

On May 4th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

SMYRNA

On May 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd and Menacing. One subject was arrested and placed in the County Jail.
