JAIL POPULATION AS OF APRIL 29 (28 MALES & 5 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 33 INMATES

ARRESTS

On April 24th Lt. Burke arrested Lew Jack Handley from Rockford; AL. on the charge of Assault 2nd.He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $10,000 bond to await trial.

On April 24th Capt. Hammond arrested Phillip Dwain Ryals from Enterprise, AL. on the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 5,000 bond to await trial.

On April 24th Lt. Keel arrested Stephan Bradley Quintanilla from Marrero, LA. On a Grand Jury Indictment for Interfering with Child Custody. He was processed and released on a $ 25,000 bond to await trial.

On April 24th Deputy Richardson arrested Christopher Ray Thornton from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Speeding. He was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On April 24th Deputy Rudd arrested Eddie Samuel Turner from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Driving Under the Influence and No Driver’s License. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

On April 25th Deputy Rudd arrested Dustin Lee Hardy from Dadeville, AL. on Grand Jury Indictments for Theft of Property 1st and Burglary 3rd. He was processed and released on a $ 45,000 bond to await trial.

On April 25th Lt. Keel arrested Davis Franklin Kelley from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Driving Under the Influence x 2, and Driving While Suspended, Failing to Display Insurance .He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 4000 bond to await trial.

On April 25th Deputy Davenport arrested Henry Joseph Wall from Goodwater, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence /Menacing. He was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

On April 26th Capt. Hammond arrested Sonya Alesia Wright from Montgomery, AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Capital Murder. She was processed and released on a $ 100,000 bond to await trial.

On April 29th Deputy Rudd arrested Kristi Scoggins Knox from Verbena, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/ Violation of a State Management Area Rule. She was processed and released on a $ 1000 bond to await trial.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

On April 27th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case if Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On April 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Kelly Lane after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The e Deputy spoke to both parties and determined that everything was ok.

STEWARTVILLE

On April 23rd Stewartville First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On April 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hallman Drive after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On April 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On April 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and everything was ok.

On April 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On April 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Shiloh Park after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputies arrival.

On April 27th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to Hallman Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On April 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of loud music. The Deputy spoke to the owner and advised them to turn the music down.

On April 29th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Hardy Lane after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On April 29th a Deputy was dispatched to Farm Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On April 29th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 70 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

 

 

WEOGUFKA

On April 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and everything was ok.

On April 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 183 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate anyone.

HANOVER

On April 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On April 26th Hanover and Stewartville Fire Departments and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 75 after receiving a report of a fire alarm at the Elementary School. The buildings were checked and it was determined to be a false alarm.

On April 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On April 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

MOUNT OLIVE

On April 24th John Howard Hudgins a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 49 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

GOODWATER

On April 25th Deputies were dispatched to CR 140 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and one subject was arrested for Domestic Violence/Menacing.

KELLYTON

On April 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.

On April 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Pine Tree Road after receiving a report of loud music. The Deputy spoke to the owner and advised them to turn the music down.

On April 27th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 119 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

 

 

RICHVILLE

On April 24th Richville First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 near CR 29 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On April 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On April 25th Richville First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to CR 19 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

ROCKFORD

On April 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate anyone.

On April 24th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and one subject was arrested for Assault 2nd.

On April 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On April 27th Haynes Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 40 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On April 27th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

EQUALITY

On April 24th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On April 26th Deputy Richardson attended the Quarterly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

On April 26th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

RAY

On April 23rd Ray, Kellyton, Goodwater and Richville Fire Departments were dispatched to CR 26 after receiving a report of a House Fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

On April 25th J.C. Winslett a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 22 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On April 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy located the subject and they left the residence without incident.

On April 27th Kellyton and Ray Fire Departments were dispatched to CR 42 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

On April 91 a Deputy was dispatched to CR 91 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

LAKE MARTIN

On April 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Spooky Hollow Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On April 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Sunrise Court after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On April 28th Equality First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to Crazy Horse Trail after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

SMYRNA

On April 25th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 83 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
