ARRESTS

On April 25th, Deputy Mitchell arrested Stephanie Sue Smith a resident of Alexander City, AL for Drug Trafficking, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Carrying Pistol without a Permit, Possession of Marijuana 1st, Possession of Controlled Substance x 7. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $105,000 bond.

On April 25th, Deputy Mitchell arrested Randall Ray Jordon a resident of Alexander City, AL for Drug Trafficking, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Ex-Felon in Possession of Firearm, Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Receiving Stolen Property 3rd, Possession of Controlled Substance x 7. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $132,500 bond.

On April 26th, Deputy Ward arrested Kenneth Earl Gamble a resident of Sylacauga, AL for Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $12,500 bond.

On April 27th, Captain Hammond arrested Bernard Russell, a resident of Kellyton, AL for Manslaughter. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

On April 27th, Captain Hammond arrested Laura Gaddis, a resident of Goodwater, AL for Exploitation of the Elderly. She was processed into the Coosa County on a $10,000 bond.

On April 27th, Corporal Rudd arrested Malik Rhyale Kelly, a resident of Goodwater, AL for Failure to Appear on Reckless Driving. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on $77 cash bond.

On April 28th, Captain Hammond arrested Adie Vines III, a resident of Goodwater, AL for Revealing Grand Jury Questions. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

On April 28th, Corporal Rudd arrested Billy Gene Jordan Jr. of Dadeville, AL for Failure to Pay Criminal Trespass 3rd. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on $4,000 cash bond.

On April 29th, Deputy Scott arrested Gregory Bernard Sweetwyne of Alexander City, AL for Failure to Pay Non-Support. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on $1,200 cash bond.

On April 29th, Deputy Ward arrested Robin Shaylin Speaks of Sylacauga, AL for Probation Revocation, Failure to Appear on Theft of Property 1st, Failure to Appear on Switched Tag,  and Failure to Appear on Operating Vehicle without Insurance. She was placed in the Coosa County Jail with no bond.

STEWARTVILLE

On April 27th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 70 after receiving a report of Harassment by Communications. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.

On April 30th, Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 231 after receiving a report of domestic disturbance. Deputies contacted complainant and issue was resolved without a report.

On April 30th, Deputies were dispatched to Hallman Drive after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. Deputy spoke with complainant and situation was resolved without a report.

KELLYTON

On April 27th, the Litter Abatement Officer was dispatched to CR 130 after receiving a report Criminal Littering. Trash was collected and case is under investigation.

On April 27th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Hwy 115 after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance. Deputy spoke with all parties involved and situation was resolved without a report.

LAKE MITCHELL

On April 27th, Deputies were dispatched to Big Y Cove Loop after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and determined that alarm false.

COTTAGE GROVE

On April 25th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and determined that alarm false.

On April 26th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Hwy 22 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.

On May 1st, Deputies were dispatched to AL Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and determined that alarm false.
