JAIL POPULATION AS OF SEPT. 29 (26 MALES & 5 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 31 INMATES
ARRESTS
On September 23rd Investigator Keel arrested Nathaniel NMN Matthews from Rockford, Al., on the charge of Sexual Abuse of a Child less than 12 years old. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $50,000 bond to await trial.
On September 25th Investigator Keel arrested Jayson Eugene Hosey from Sylacauga, Al., on the charge of Failure to Pay/Driving While Suspended. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $1000 bond to await trial.
On September 25th Captain Hammond arrested Patricia Sheppard Swain from Childersburg, Al., on the charges of Possession of Forged Instrument and Trafficking Stolen Identities. She was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $75,000 bond to await trial.
On September 25th Deputy Moon arrested Kelly Marie Gray from Sylacauga, Al., on the charge of Possession of Marijuana 2nd. She was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $2,000 bond to await trial.
On September 25th Captain Hammond arrested Regina Lou Sheppard from Alpine, Al., on the charge of Trafficking Stolen Identities. She was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $50,000 bond to await trial.
On September 25th Deputy Ward arrested David Tylan Jones from Goodwater, Al., on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and booked into the County Jail with no bond to await trial.
On September 26th Investigator Keel arrested Joshua Clay Lewis from Childersburg, Al., on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $1,000 bond to await trial.
On September 27th Investigator Keel arrested Reggie Lamont Chatman from Talladega, Al., on the charges of Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance and Driving While Revoked.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On September 23rd A Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On September 25th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On September 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On September 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined everything to be ok.
WEOGUFKA
On September 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke with both partied and the issue was resolved without incident.
On September 27th Stewartville and Weogufka fire departments were dispatched to CR 29 near CR 55 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On September 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 183 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On September 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 183 after receiving a report of Trespassing. The Deputy warned the subject not to come back on the property.
MOUNT OLIVE
On September 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 116 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On September 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.
KEYNO
On September 27th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 71 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
GOODWATER
On September 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 141 after receiving a report of Trespassing. The Deputy located the subject and was warned not to come back on property.
KELLYTON
On September 23rd John Harlan Alexander a convicted Sex Offender who resides on CR 40 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On September 25th a Deputy and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 65 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On September 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On September 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Trailer Park Road after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke with both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
On September 27th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.
RICHVILLE
On September 24th Joseph Corey Wilbanks a convicted Sex Offender who resides on CR 19 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On September 27th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 3 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke with the complainant and explained the warrant process.
ROCKFORD
On September 24th a Deputy was dispatched to Circle Drive after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined everything to be ok.
On September 25th Deputies were dispatched to a business on Hwy 231 after receiving a report of Identity Theft. A report was completed and two people were arrested for Identity Theft.
EQUALITY
On September 29th Equality First Responders, Kellyton Medics and a Deputy was dispatched to CR 51 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
RAY
On September 28th Ray Fire Department and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 73 after receiving a report of an ATV fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
LAKE MARTIN
On September 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Honeysuckle Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On September 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Woodvine Road after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.
