ARRESTS

On September 11th Deputy F. Jones arrested Michael Jason Johns from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

On September 11th Captain Hammond arrested Wesley Davis Arnold from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Theft of Property 1st and Burglary 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.

On September 11th Deputy Rudd arrested Casey Hugh Barnett from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Failure to Appear/Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance. And Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.

On September 11th Captain Hammond arrested Stephanie Lynn Isbell Compton from Anniston, AL. on the charges of Theft of Property 1st X 2, Theft of Property 2nd X 2 and Burglary 3rd X 4. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $55,000 bond to await trial.

On September 15th Lt. Burke arrested April Nicole Barnes  from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On September 11th Captain Hammond arrested Tristan Drake Slay from Sylacauga, AL. on the charges of Theft of Property 1stX 2, Theft of Property 2nd X 2 and Burglary 3rd X 4. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 55,000 bond to await trial.

On September 12th Deputy Richardson arrested Cynthia Tibbs Piotrowski from Stewartville, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to wait trial.

On September 12th Deputy Richardson arrested Joshua Ramirez Salazar from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance, Speeding and Failure to Wear Seat Belt. He was processed and released on a $ 3,000 bond to await trial.

On September 12 Captain Hammond arrested Antwon Jamar Gilbert from Kellyton, AL. on the charge of Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $5,000 bond to await trial.

On September 13th Corporal Moon arrested Lakisha Montrese Barnes from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear / Negotiating a Worthless Instrument X 8. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On September 14th Chief Davidson arrested Andrae Lanell Hoytt from Montgomery, AL. on the charge of Theft of Property 2nd. He was processed and released on a $ 5,000 bond to await trial.

On September 14th Deputy Davenport arrested Michael Eugen Hilburn from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Assault 3rd. He was processed and released on a $3,500 bond to await trial.

On September 15th Deputy Davenport arrested Dalametrick Keon Twymon from Talladega, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On September 15th Lt. Burke arrested LaMichael Jacobe Corbin from Equality, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On September 16th Deputy Rudd arrested Robert Austin Cox from Deatsville, AL. on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of a Concealed Firearm Without a Permit. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 4,000 bond to await trial.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

On September 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 99 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

STEWARTVILLE

On September 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Mack Miller Drive after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.

On September 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a report of Criminal Trespass. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the warrant process.

On September 14th Stewartville Fire Department and a Deputy were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 117 after receiving a report of a vehicle fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

On September 16th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 150 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On September 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.

WEOGUFKA

On September 10th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On September 10th Weogufka First Responders a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 55 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

HANOVER

On September 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that it was disabled.

On September 10th Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On September 14th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

KEYNO

On September 12, a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.

On September 12th Kellyton Medics and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 96 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

GOODWATER

On September 14th Steve Allen Marbury a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 511 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On September 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 511 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

KELLYTON

On September 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

On September 12th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 77 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On September 12th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On September 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On September 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Firehouse Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On September 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 126 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy located the subject and determined that they were ok.

On September 14th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On September 14th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Trailer Park Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On September 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On September 15th Kellyton and Goodwater Fire Departments were dispatched to Hayes Street after receiving a report of a structure fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

On September 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.

On September 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 339 after receiving a report of Trespassing. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

RICHVILLE

On September 10th Haynes Ambulance was dispatched to CR 29 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Baptist Hospital in Montgomery.

On September 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.

On September 14th Thomas Lawson Lamberth a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 29 reported to the Sheriff’s Offices to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

ROCKFORD

On September 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and it appeared to be disabled.

On September 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On September 15th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Washington Street after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On September 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.

On September 16th Rockford First Responders and a Deputy were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

EQUALITY

On September 13th Equality First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On September 13th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On September 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 98 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

RAY

On September 10th Ray First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Piney Wood Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

LAKE MARTIN

On September 13th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 20 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

SMYRNA
