ARRESTS

On September 26th Deputy Jones arrested Michael Shane Green from Gadsden, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

On September 26th Lt. Burke arrested Beverly Denise Hosmer from Evergreen, AL. on a warrant for Criminal Trespass 3rd. She was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On September 27th Deputy Richardson arrested Ontarius Lavoire Billingsley from Talladega, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Improper Lights. He was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

On September 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 5 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and located the vehicle and determined that everything was alright.

STEWARTVILLE

On September 25th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined that everything was ok.

On September 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Chatham Road after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy located the person and determined that they were ok.

On September 27th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On September 29th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 150, after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On September 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 68 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. A Deputy spoke with the complainant and explained the civil process.

On September 29th a Deputy was dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a request for a welfare check. Deputy spoke to the subject and determined they were alright.

On September 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 74 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

WEOGUFKA

On September 25th Weogufka First Responders were dispatched to CR 112 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.

HANOVER

On September 24th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On September 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a Civil Dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and explained the civil process.

On September 29th Hanover First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No reported injuries and the scene turned over to the Trooper.

MOUNT OLIVE

On September 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

On September 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

KEYNO

On September 29th a Deputy was dispatched to Oscar Martin Road after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. Deputy patrolled the area located the vehicle and determined everything to be ok.

GOODWATER

On September 27th Howard NMN Kelly Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Broken Arrowhead Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON

On September 28th Kellyton Medics a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near Hwy 115 for a two-vehicle accident. No reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On September 29th Goodwater Medics were dispatched to CR 77 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On September 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 126 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke with both parties and explained the civil process.

On September 29th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 50 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On September 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 325 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm was false.

ROCKFORD

On September 24th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Martha Lane after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

On September 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 near CR 79 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined the vehicle appeared to be disabled.

On September 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 311 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

On September 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 93 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

EQUALITY

On September 25th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 98 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and explained the civil process.

On September 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 18 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the Funeral Escort as requested.

RAY

On September 28th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 91 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No reported injures and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On September 29th Kellyton Fire and Ray Fire were dispatched to CR322 after receiving a residential fire alarm. When fire departments arrived, they determined the call to be a false alarm.

LAKE MARTIN

On September 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Daisy Drive after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
