JAIL POPULATION AS OF NOV. 11 (21 MALES & 9 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 30 INMATES

ARRESTS

On November 7th Deputy Jones arrested Steven James Cote from Sylacauga, AL. on the charges of Failure to Pay/Driving under the Influence, also he was charged for Driving Under the Influence, Possession of Marijuana 2nd, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and released on a $ 4,500 bond to await trial.

On November 8th Deputy Richardson arrested Jonathan Laneil Marbury from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On November 11th Deputy Rudd arrested Jon Cameron Vincent from Childersburg, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On November 11th Deputy Davenport arrested Rodraqus Ferlando Tyson from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Driving While Revoked. He was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

On November 9th Marble Valley First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 5 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

STEWARTVILLE

On November 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that the driver had an active warrant. The subject was arrested on the warrant and transported to the County Jail.

On November 9th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and Deputies were dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of person having a gunshot wound. The person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the case is under investigation.

On November 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 70 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

WEOGUFKA

On November 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 55 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the subject and transported him to a nearby residence.

On November 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 55 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

On November 10th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy spoke to the person and then contacted the Department of Human Resources to assist in helping the resident.

HANOVER

On November 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 34 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On November 9th Weogufka Fire Department was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a structure fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

On November 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 75 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

MOUNT OLIVE

On November 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.

GOODWATER

On November 6th Goodwater Medics a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 511 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

KELLYTON

On November 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy spoke to the person and determined that everything was ok with them.

On November 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Harassment and the warrant process was explained.

On November 6th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 126 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On November 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On November 7th Alexander City Medics were dispatched to CR 77 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

RICHVILLE

On November 6th Jack Logan Gayheart a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 25 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On November 6th Joseph Corey Wilbanks a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 19 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

ROCKFORD

On November 5th Deputy Davenport attended the Union Square Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting, where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

On November 9th Rockford, Hanover and Ray First Responders, Kellyton and Sylacauga Medics along with Rockford Police Department, Deputies and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 120 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. Two people were transported to Russell Medical Center and one to Coosa Valley Medical Center. There was one reported fatality and the scene was turned over to the Coroner and the Trooper.

On November 9th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

On November 11th Ray First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident that had overturned. Two people were transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

EQUALITY

On November 6th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 4 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

On November 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On November 6th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 98 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the subject and determined that everything was ok.

On November 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 98 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

 

LAKE MARTIN

On November 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Needle Eye Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On November 10th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.
