JAIL POPULATION AS OF NOVEMBER 10 (24 MALES & 2 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 26 INMATES

ARRESTS

On November 4th Sheriff Howell arrested Elda Lee Wooten from Rockford, AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.

On November 4th Sgt. Jones arrested Desmond Deon Edwards from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Expired Tag and Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

On November 6th Sgt. Jones arrested Matthew Swain from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Driving while Suspended and Switched Tag. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

On November 7th Capt. Hammond arrested Timothy Matthew Caldwell from Kellyton, AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Reckless Manslaughter X 2. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 50,000 bond to await trial.

On November 8th Capt. Hammond arrested Stacy Lynn Harris from Sylacauga, AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 500 bond to await trial.

On November 8th Deputy Lucas arrested Lamar Monta Norwood from Sylacauga, AL on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Synthetic Marijuana. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.

 

 

 

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

On November 7th Marble Valley First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 5 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

STEWARTVILLE

On November 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On November 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined the vehicle to be disabled.

On November 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

On November 10th Deputies were dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a civil dispute where a firearm had been discharged into a vehicle. A report for Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle was completed and the case is under investigation.

On November 10th Deputies were dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputies arrival.

WEOGUFKA

On November 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Mack Miller Drive after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke with both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

On November 4th Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 41 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

MOUNT OLIVE

On November 7th Kellyton Medics and a Deputy were dispatched to Hope Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

KELLYTON

On November 6th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 65 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.

On November 6th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 9 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.

On November 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined the alarm to be false.

On November 9th Kellyton and Goodwater Fire Departments were dispatched to Trailer Park Road after receiving a report of a structure fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

RICHVILLE

On November 9th Richville and Rockford First Responders, Haynes Ambulance a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one-vehicle accident. Two people were transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

ROCKFORD

On November 4th Sgt Jones and Deputy Ward attended the Union Square Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where they presented the monthly crime report for the area.

On November 4th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On November 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.

On November 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Washington Street after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the vehicle.

COTTAGE GROVE

On November 6th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 30 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.

On November 8th Kellyton Medics and Ray First Responders were dispatched to CR 133 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

EQUALITY

On November 6th Equality First Responders, Kellyton Medics. a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

RAY

On November 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On November 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR119 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
