NOVEMBER 25 – DECEMBER 1

JAIL POPULATION AS OF DECEMBER 1 (28 MALES & 4 FEMALES) TOTAL OF  32 INMATES

ARRESTS

On November 25th Chief Long arrested Wayne Lamar Harrison from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/ Non-Support of a Child. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $1000 bond to await trial.

On November 25th Deputy Rudd arrested Brian Edward Jones from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On November 27th Deputy Ward arrested Pervin Lamar Swain from Sylacauga, AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,500 bond to await trial.

On November 30th Sgt. Jones arrested Edward Lashaun Tuck from Goodwater, AL. on the charge of Disorderly Conduct. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 500 bond to await trial.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On November 30th Stewartville First Responders and a Deputy were dispatched to Shiloh Drive after receiving a request for a welfare check. The resident was located and they were determined to be ok.

On December 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

WEOGUFKA

On November 25th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 183 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located and everything was determined to be ok.

HANOVER

On November 29th Hanover Fire Department was dispatched to CR 75 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

On November 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.

GOODWATER

On November 25th Raymond Adam Chillura Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Queen Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On November 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Clay Street to assist Goodwater PD with a domestic dispute. During the incident one subject was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and transported to the County Jail.

KELLYTON

On November 27th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 87 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On November 27th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 46 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On November 29th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

On November 30th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 89 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On December 1st Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 280 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

ROCKFORD

On November 25th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On November 29th a Deputy was dispatched to Spring Street after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment and the warrant process was explained.

SPEED

On November 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle which appeared to be disabled.

On November 27th Rockford First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

COTTAGE GROVE

On November 25th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 30 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On November 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 30 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.

On November 29th Ray First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 near CR 311 after receiving a report of a two-vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On November 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 311 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

EQUALITY

On December 1st Kellyton Medics and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 51 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On December 1st a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

RAY

On November 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On November 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.

On November 28th Ray First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

LAKE MARTIN

On November 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Oakachoy Aerie Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the resident and determined that the alarm was false.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On November 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.
