JAIL POPULATION AS OF MAY 31 (19 MALES & 6 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 25 INMATES

 

ARRESTS

On May 26th Corporal Rudd arrested Elver Carey Mitchell III from Jacksons Gap, Al., on the charges of Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 3rd. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $8,000 bond to await trial.

On May 27th Corporal Rudd arrested Thomas Earl Hatchett from Sylacauga, Al., on the charge of Failure to Appear/Manslaughter. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $10,000 bond to await trial.

On May 28th Deputy Reed arrested Scottie Tories McKinney from Kellyton, Al., on the charges of Obstructing Governmental Operations and Resisting Arrest. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $1,500 bond to await trial.

On May 28th Deputy Reed arrested April Lynn Hill from Sylacauga, Al., on the charge of Failure to Comply with a Court Order. She has been processed and booked into the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On May 30th Deputy Fenn arrested Asberry Scott from Rockford, Al., on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $2,000 bond to await trial.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On May 26th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Harvest Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

WEOGUFKA

On May 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a Suspicious Person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

GOODWATER

On May 30th Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a request to assist Goodwater Police Department with a Civil Disturbance. Deputies assisted other agency without incident.

KELLYTON

On May 27th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a Suspicious Person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.

On May 29th   Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a Civil Dispute. The Deputy spoke with both parties and the civil process was explained.

On May 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined the alarm to be false.

On May 30th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 323 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On May 30th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a three vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

ROCKFORD

On May 28th Rockford First Responders, Kellyton Medics and a Deputy were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

COTTAGE GROVE

On May 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy spoke with the complainant and explained the Civil Process.

 

 

EQUALITY

On May 29th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

On May 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 14 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

RAY

On May 25th Kellyton Medics a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

LAKE MARTIN

On May 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Fox Run Road after receiving a report of Trespassing. The Deputy spoke with the subject and warned them not to comeback on the property.

On May 27th Equality Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Spooky Hollow Road after receiving a report of a residential fire alarm. The Fire Department checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On May 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 55 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

LAKE MITCHELL

On May 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Lakeland Drive after receiving a report of Trespassing. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate anyone.
