ARRESTS

On March 3rd Deputy Dawson arrested Kimberly Jo Palmer from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/ Non-Support of a Child. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 544 payout to the Department of Human Resources.

On March 5th Chief Long arrested Jose Froylan Martinez from Alexander City, AL on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $356 Pay-out to the Circuit Clerk.

On March 5th Investigator Keel arrested Lisa Ann Patterson from Lineville, AL on a warrant for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.

On March 6th Deputy Fenn arrested Stacy Lynn Harris from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Court Ordered Sanction. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On March 6th Investigator Keel arrested Kristopher James Murphy from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.

On March 6th Deputy Fenn arrested John Henry Ross from Montgomery, AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Obstructing Governmental Operations. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 5,000 bond to await trial.

On March 8th Deputy Fenn arrested Marvin Duwane Parker from Verbena, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st and Violation of Posted Rule on Wildlife Management Area. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $1,365 payout to the Circuit Clerk.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

On March 2nd Marble Valley and Weogufka First Responders were dispatched to CR 5 after receiving a report of a missing person. After a brief search the subject was located and returned home safely.

STEWARTVILLE

On March 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Apple Circle after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined it to be disabled.

On March 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined it to be disabled.

On March 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined the alarm to be false.

On March 4th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 68 after receiving a report of Trespassing. The Deputy spoke with the person causing the problem and advised them not to return to the property.

On March 7th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On March 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.

WEOGUFKA

On March 4th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problem left prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

On March 6th Weogufka First Responders and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 55 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

HANOVER

On March 3rd Kellyton Medics, Stewartville First Responders, a Deputy, and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On March 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined everything to be ok.

GOODWATER

On March 7th Kellyton and Goodwater Fire Departments were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a Brush Fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

KELLYTON

On March 3rd Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 312 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On March 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Cherry Lane after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problem left prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

RICHVILLE

On March 2nd Richville and Rockford First Responders, a Deputy, and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On March 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 60 after receiving a report of Criminal Littering.  A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

ROCKFORD

On March 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

SPEED

On March 7th a Deputy and the Coroner were dispatched to CR 173 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

COTTAGE GROVE

On March 3rd Rockford First Responders, Kellyton Medics, and a Deputy were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

RAY

On March 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 63 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy spoke with the person causing the problem and advised them to leave the property.

On March 6th Ray First Responders and Alexander City Medics were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

LAKE MARTIN

On March 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 20 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On March 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 20 after receiving a report of Burglary. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On March 2nd Weogufka First Responders, a Deputy, and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 55 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
