JAIL POPULATION AS OF MARCH 24 (35 MALES & 4 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 39 INMATES

ARRESTS

On March 18th Deputy Rudd arrested Starrdidra Lekehonto Edwards from Kellyton, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/No Child Restraint and Possession of an Altered Vehicle Tag. She was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

On March 18th Deputy Davenport arrested Roszel NMN Broadnax from Leeds, AL. on warrants for Burglary 2nd and Theft of Property 4th. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.

On March 18th Deputy Davenport arrested Erin Jermon Stone from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Speeding. He was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On March 19th Sgt. Jones arrested Bronical Tyrone Jones from Montgomery, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

On March 19th Sgt. Jones arrested Zathian Daune Webster from Montgomery, AL. on the charges of Illegal Possession of a Credit Card, Possession of Stolen Property and Unlawful Use of an Official Department of Public Safety Identification Card. He was processed and released on a $ 7,500 bond to await trial.

On March 21st Deputy Rudd arrested Clifford William Stroh from Alexander City, AL. on warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On March 21st Deputy Rudd arrested Barry Dwayne Hutchins from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance, Expired Tag and Driving While Revoked. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 3,000 bond to await trial.

On March 22nd Deputy Davenport arrested John Kenneth Kelley from Alexander City, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and released on a $ 15,000 bond to await trial.

On March 23rd Deputy Davenport arrested Jason Keith Kromer from Columbiana, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/ Theft of Property 4th. He was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

 

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On March 19th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the subject.

On March 19th Stewartville Fire Department was dispatched to Sunnyside Circle after receiving a report of a brush fire. The Alabama Forestry Commission was dispatched to help control the fire.

On March 19th Harry James Embry Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 74 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On March 19th Thomas Eugene Gamble a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 41 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On March 20th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On March 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.

On March 24th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 70 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On March 24th Stewartville and Weogufka Fire Departments were dispatched to CR 39 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.

WEOGUFKA

On March 19th Robert Clay Schrader a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 56 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On March 21st Deputy Rudd and the Sheriff attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where they presented the monthly crime report for the area.

On March 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Memorial Loop after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.

HANOVER

On March 19th Sheriff Howell attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

On March 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined that everything was ok.

On March 22nd Hanover First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On March 22nd Hanover First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 280 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

MOUNT OLIVE

On March 19th Willie Earl Gamble a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Gamble Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On March 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. The Deputy completed a report and the case is under investigation.

On March 19th Olen Cleophus Kelly a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Old Dam Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On March 19th Jimmy Ray Emfinger a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 9 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On March 18th Kellyton and Hanover Fire Departments, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a vehicle fire. Fire was extinguished without incident and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On March 19th Danny Jerome Hanson a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 28 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On March 19th James C Rollins a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 71 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On March 19th Asberry J Scott a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 93 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On March 21st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 83 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On March 23rd Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On March 20th Rockford First Responders and Goodwater Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On March 21st Kellyton Medics, Equality First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 14 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On March 23rd Ray and Hanover Fire Departments were dispatched to CR 23 after receiving a report of a brush fire. Fire was extinguished without incident.

COTTAGE GROVE

On March 20th Ray Fire Department was dispatched to CR 22 after receiving a report of a residential fire alarm. Residence was checked and the alarm was determined to be false.

EQUALITY

On March 18th Equality First Responders were dispatched to CR 259 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was assisted without incident.

On March 20th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 20 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

RAY

On March 19th William Rex Layfield a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 22 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On March 19th Freddie NMN Burton a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 71 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On March 19th Jackie Steve Oliver a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 155 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On March 24th Kellyton Medics and Ray First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.

On March 19th Fletcher Stephen Thomas a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Coleman Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On March 19th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the Church and determined that the alarm was false.
