ARRESTS

On June 11th Deputy Richardson arrested LaDarien Rahiem Culpepper from Alexander City , AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana 1st. He was processed and released on a $10,000 bond to await trial.

On June 13th Capt. Hammond arrested Vonnie Robert Boswell from Eclectic, AL. on a warrant for Harassing Communications. He was processed and released on a $1000 bond to await trial.

On June 15th Capt. Hammond arrested Corey James Thornton from Jackson’s Gap, AL. on a warrant for Sexual Abuse of a Child Less than 12 Years Old. He was processed and released on a $50,000 bond to await trial.

On June 15th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Jerry MacArthur Hill from Equality, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

 

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On June 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of several suspicious people walking in the roadway. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate anyone.

On June 11th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On June 14th a Deputy was dispatched to Hallman Drive after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On June 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

WEOGUFKA

On June 12th Weogufka First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 56 near CR 55 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident that had overturned. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On June 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy spoke to the person and determined that they were ok.

On June 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Willow Court after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On June 17th a Deputy and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 56 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

MOUNT OLIVE

On June 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate anyone.

On June 16th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. One person was transported to U.A.B. Hospital in Birmingham and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On June 17th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 66 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

KELLYTON

On June 11th a Deputy was dispatched to a Hwy 280 business after receiving a report of a Gas Drive Off. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On June 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Long Tree Drive after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment and the warrant process was explained.

On June 13th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 85 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On June 14th a Deputy was dispatched to Ireland Way after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On June 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

 

 

 

RICHVILLE

On June 11th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On June 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 19 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

ROCKFORD

On June 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 120 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On June 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

EQUALITY

On June 11th Ray First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to CR 4 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On June 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of Harassment. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the warrant process.

RAY

On June 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 73 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On June 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Reeves Lane after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report for Domestic Violence 3rd / Harassment was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On June 15th Robert Wayne Narr a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 63 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On June 16th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On June 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 73 after receiving a report of loud music. The Deputy located the source of the music and advised them to turn the music down.

LAKE MARTIN

On June 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Carnation Drive after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On June 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Ivey Shores Lane after receiving a report of a Theft of Property of a Watercraft.  After completing a report, the watercraft was found and returned to the owner.

On June 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 92 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy spoke to the person and determined that they were ok.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On June 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Cedar Circle after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy spoke to the person and determined that they were ok.

On June 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.

SALEM

On June 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Nicholas Drive after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

SMYRNA

On June 11th Deputy Davenport attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
