ARRESTS
On July 29th Deputy Rudd arrested Steven Brian Culver from Stewartville, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On July 31st Captain Hammond arrested Jonathan Cody Tabor from Anniston, AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $10,000 bond to await trial.
On July 31st Captain Hammond arrested Charles Vantez Whigham from Kinsey, AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Escape 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 20,000 bond to await trial.
On July 31st Captain Hammond arrested Robert Anthony Frye from Childersburg, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On August 1st Sgt. Jones arrested Christopher Corey Slagle from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Comply with a Court Order. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On August 1st Sgt. Jones arrested Jaida Nychelle Tuck from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Speeding. She was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial...
On August 2nd Deputy Middlebrooks arrested Joseph Lee Lewis from Alexander City, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 5,000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On July 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. The Deputy completed a report and the case is under further investigation.
On July 30th Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to Shiloh Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.
On August 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Shiloh Drive after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke with both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
WEOGUFKA
On August 1st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined everything to be ok.
On August 1st Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 29 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
MOUNT OLIVE
On July 30th Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to CR 123 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On July 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Gamble Road after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under further investigation.
KELLYTON
On July 29th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of Assault. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/ Harassment and the warrant process was explained.
On July 30th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 65 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On July 31st Kellyton Fire Department was dispatched to Hwy 115 after receiving a report of a residential fire alarm. Kellyton Fire checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On July 31st a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Trespassing. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On August 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Stokes Road after receiving a report of Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under further investigation.
On August 2nd Alonzo NMN Blackmon a convicted Sex Offender who resides on Hwy 280 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On August 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. The Deputy completed a report and the warrant process was explained.
On August 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On August 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
RICHVILLE
On August 2nd Rockford First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 71 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
ROCKFORD
On July 31st a Deputy was dispatched to Nixburg Street after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined the alarm to be false.
On August 1st Nathaniel NMN Matthews a convicted Sex Offender who resides on Hwy 22 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On August 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but could not locate the person.
On August 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Jackson Street after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined the alarm to be false.
On August 4th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
COTTAGE GROVE
On July 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under further investigation.
On August 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke with both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
RAY
On July 29th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 near CR32 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On July 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the vehicle.
On August 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 73 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy completed a report for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment and one arrest was made.
LAKE MARTIN
On July 29th a Deputy was dispatched to Whispering Cove after a receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On July 31st a Deputy was dispatched to Hickory Cove after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under further investigation.
On August 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Fox Run after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
