JAIL POPULATION AS OF JAN.12 (21 MALES & 3 FEMALES ) TOTAL OF 24 INMATES
ARRESTS
On January 8th Sgt. Jones arrested Scott William McCook from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Criminal Trespass 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.
On January 9th Deputy Fenn arrested Joshua Glenn Saffold from Goodwater, AL. on warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Theft of Property 1st, Failure to Complete Court Ordered Rehab, Failure to Report to Community Corrections and Escape 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await sentencing.
On January 9th Investigator Keel arrested Christopher Devin Slay from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation (Drug Court Sanction). He was processed and placed in the County Jail to serve a 7-Day Sanction.
On January 11th Deputy Ward arrested Sylvania Dvon Mays from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On January 11th Deputy Fenn arrested Rodraqus Ferlando Tyson from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Driving while Revoked. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
On January 11th Deputies, County Fire Departments and Volunteers were dispatched County Wide after the recent storm damage that occurred during the afternoon hours. Trees, debris and traffic control were handled without any other major incidents. We want to Thank everyone who helped out during this time of need.
MARBLE VALLEY
On January 11th Marble Valley First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 5 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
STEWARTVILLE
On January 6th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report an Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On January 6th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On January 6th Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to Hallman Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On January 6th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 56 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On January 7th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Orange Lane after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On January 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
On January 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Harvest Road after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
On January 10th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to Hardy Lane after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On January 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
WEOGUFKA
On January 6th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On January 6th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 56 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On January 10th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On January 12th Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Mooney Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
HANOVER
On January 6th Stewartville and Hanover First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, Deputies and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On January 10th Hanover First Responders, Kellyton Medics, Deputies and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 59 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
MOUNT OLIVE
On January 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 38 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On January 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 116 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
GOODWATER
On January 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Queen Street after receiving a report of a Civil Dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.
KELLYTON
On January 11th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 65 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On January 11th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On January 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
RICHVILLE
On January 6th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 45 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On January 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
On January 11th a Deputy was dispatched to River Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
ROCKFORD
On January 6th Deputy Fenn attended the Union Square Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
On January 8th Rockford First Responders were dispatched to Hill Street after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.
On January 11th Rockford First Responders and Goodwater Medics were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On January 11th Rockford First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Washington Street after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
SPEED
On January 10th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 10 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy spoke to the person and determined that they were ok.
COTTAGE GROVE
On January 11th Ray First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
EQUALITY
On January 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the roadway. The Deputy located the person and transported him to the County Line to help him on his way.
RAY
On January 11th Rockford First Responders and Goodwater Medics were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On January 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a request for a Funeral Escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
