ARRESTS

On February 6th, Deputy Scott arrested Teresa Holley Black, a resident of Alexander City, Al for failure to appear in court. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $3,000 bond.

On February 7th, Deputy Payton arrested Brian Keith Smith, a resident of Rockford, AL for failure to appear. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.

On February 7th, Deputy Scott arrested Harvey Headley Duke Jr., a resident of Weogufka, AL for possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana 2nd, possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

On February 8th, Deputy Ward arrested Robert Octavious Barber a resident of Sylacauga, AL for Possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, attempting to elude, and ex-felon in possession of firearm. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $30,600 bond.

On February 8th, Sergeant Rudd arrested Bryan Patrick Campbell, a resident of Alexander City, Al for criminal mischief. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $2,500 bond.

On February 8th, Sergeant Rudd arrested Melinda Christine Campbell, a resident of Alexander City, Al for resisting arrest. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $1,000 bond.

On February 8th, Deputy Keel arrested Eureka Shardae Thomas, a resident of Kellyton, Al for harassment, and failure to appear in court. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $4,500 bond.

On February 9th, Sergeant Rudd arrested Samuel James Smoot, a resident of Kellyton, AL for failure to appear in court. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $750 cash bond.

On February 10th, Deputy Scott arrested Josephine Gaddis, a resident of Alexander City, AL for failure to appear. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $1,000 bond.

On February 12th, Deputy Scott arrested Terrance Maurice Thomas of Titus, AL for possession of marijuana 2nd. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $2,000 bond.

STEWARTVILLE

On February 2nd, deputies were dispatched to Sunnyside Circle after receiving a report of harassment by communications. A report was taken and case is under investigation.

On February 3rd, deputies were dispatched to CR 78 after receiving a report of trespassing. Deputy spoke with all parties and situation was resolved without a report.

On February 4th, deputies were dispatched to US HWY 231 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and determined alarm to be false.

On February 12th, deputies were dispatched to Ham Rd after receiving of a unresponsive resident. The Coosa County Coroner was notified and scene was released for investigation.

RAY

On February 6th, deputies were dispatched to CR 322 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. A report was taken and case is under investigation.

WEOGUFKA

On February 3rd, Jeffrey Compton, a resident of CR 41 reported to the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office to update his sex offender registration information.

KELLYTON

On February 6th, deputies were dispatched to CR 71 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute.  A report was taken and case is under investigation.

On February 6th, deputies were dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of an assault. A report was taken and case is under investigation.

On February 12th, deputies were dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report that someone had been shot. A report was taken and case is under investigation.

LAKE MARTIN

On February 9th, deputies were dispatched to Lost Creek Trail after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and determined alarm to be false.

RICHVILLE

On February 4th, deputies were dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of illegal hunting. Deputies and Game Wardens preformed extra patrol in area.

MT OLIVE

On February 9th, deputies were dispatched to CR 66 after receiving a report of property damage. Deputy spoke with complainant and situation was resolved without a report.

GOODWATER

On February 8th, deputies were dispatched to Gilliland Circle after receiving a report of a house fire resulting in death. Fire departments were notified, Fire marshal was notified. Scene was released for investigation.

On February 9th, deputies were dispatched to CR 111 after receiving a report of a commercial burglar alarm. Deputy checked business and determined alarm to be false.

On February 9th, deputies were dispatched to CR 52 after receiving a request for a welfare check. Deputy made contact and determined alarm to be false.

ROCKFORD

On February 11th, deputies were dispatched to CR 6 after receiving a report of criminal mischief. A report was taken and case is under investigation.

EQUALITY

On February 7th, deputies were dispatched to CR 98 after receiving a report of an unwanted guest. Deputy spoke with all parties involved and situation was resolved without a report.

HANOVER

On February 8th, The Coosa County Scholl Resource Officer reported kids found with vape devices. A report was taken and case is under investigation.

SMYRNA

On February 6th, deputies were dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was taken and case is under investigation.
