JAIL POPULATION AS OF JAN. 6 (20 MALES & 9 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 29 INMATES

ARRESTS

On January 1st Deputy Rudd arrested Christopher Devin Slay from Sylacauga, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and released on a $ 6,000 bond to await trial.

On January 2nd Deputy Jones arrested Olin Eugene Wedge from Sylacauga, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana 1st and Carrying a Concealed Pistol Without a Permit. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 20,000 bond to await trial.

On January 2nd Deputy Jones arrested Eric Jason Landers from, Sylacauga, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st, Carrying a Pistol Without a Permit and Attempting to Elude. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 20,000 bond to await trial.

On January 2nd Deputy Jones arrested Allison Lori Dennis Wall from Goodwater, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/ Theft of Property 2nd X 4, Theft of Property 3rd X 2, Harassing Communications, Also Attempting to Elude, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Carrying a Concealed Pistol without a Permit. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond on the Failure to Appear charges and a $12,500 bond on the other charges. She will remain in the County Jail until her Court date.

On January 3rd Deputy Richardson arrested Harvey NMN Wright from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Harassment. He was processed and released on a $ 500 bond to await trial.

On January 4th Deputy Rudd arrested David Tylan Jones from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Receiving Stolen Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.

On January 4th Deputy Rudd arrested Marcus Lewis Jackson from Piedmont, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance and Failure to Register Vehicle. He was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

On January 5th Deputy Rudd arrested Julius Rodriquez Taylor from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

On January 6th Marble Valley First Responders and a Deputy was dispatched to Holly Springs Road after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the vehicle which had slid off the road was retrieved.

STEWARTVILLE

On December 31st a Deputy was dispatched to Apple Drive after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. Report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On January 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

On January 4th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On January 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

WEOGUFKA

On January 2nd Weogufka First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On January 6th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 183 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

HANOVER

On January 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that it appeared to be disabled.

KEYNO

On December 31st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 103 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.

GOODWATER

On January 2nd Kenneth Ray Swindell a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Queen Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

 

 

KELLYTON

On December 31st a Deputy was dispatched to Church Street after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

On January 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined the vehicle appeared to be disabled.

On January 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

RICHVILLE

On December 1st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 19 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy located the person and determined that they were ok.

On January 1st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 19 after receiving a report of Trespassing. The Deputy located the subjects and warned them not to return to the property.

ROCKFORD

On December 31st Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On January 1st Rockford First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On January 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Main Street after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

On January 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined everything to be ok.

On January 6th Ray First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 30 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

EQUALITY

On January 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 76 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

RAY

On January 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 91 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

On January 6th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 9 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

LAKE MARTIN

On January 4th Equality Fire Department and a Deputy were dispatched to Honeysuckle Lane after receiving a report of a structure fire. The structure was completely destroyed, a report was completed and the scene was turned over to the State Fire Marshall.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On January 4th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
