ARRESTS
On December 21st, Deputy Fenn arrested Bert Adam Estes of Sylacauga, AL on charges of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Concealed weapon without a permit. He was previously out on bond, on a Domestic Violence charge. That bond was revoked and he remains in the Coosa County Jail with no bond.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
WEOGUFKA
On December 22nd, Deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of CR 56 after receiving a report for Burglary. A report was completed and case is under investigation.
On December 25th, Weogufka VFD, Sylacauga Ambulance, Alabama State Troopers and Deputies were dispatched to CR 56 for a motor vehicle accident. One person was injured and transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center. The scene was turned over to Troopers.
MARBLE VALLEY
On December 25th, Deputies were dispatched to Kelly Lane after receiving a report of a prowler. Deputies checked the area and had no contact with any suspicious persons.
STEWARTVILLE
On December 24th, Stewartville First Responders and a deputy were dispatched to Harley Dr. after receiving a report of a residential fire alarm. Alarm was determined to be false.
On December 25th, Deputies were dispatched to Al Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a commercial burglar alarm. Deputies checked business and determined alarm to be false.
On December 27th, Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to Co. Rd. 70 after receiving a request for medical assistance. Resident was treated on scene.
On December 27th, Deputies were dispatched to Shiloh Trailer Park after receiving a report of a civil dispute. Deputies spoke with parties involved and situation was resolved with no report.
On December 27th, Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a motor vehicle hitting a deer. Deputies stood by with driver until Tow Truck arrived. No report was necessary.
HANOVER
On December 22nd, a Deputy assisted a motorist at the intersection of US 231 and CR 56. The Deputy helped change the tire and follow them to Chevron for more assistance. No report was needed.
On December 25th, Hanover VFD, Sylacauga Ambulance, Alabama State Troopers and Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 280 and CR 49 for a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported, and the scene was turned over to Troopers.
MT OLIVE
On December 23rd, Deputies were dispatched to CR 123 for an Assault. A report was taken and case was turned over to juvenile authorities for investigation.
EQUALITY
On December 26th, Kellyton Medics and Ray First Responders were dispatched to Co Rd 61 after receiving a request for medical assistance. Resident was transported to Russell Hospital.
On December 26th, Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Co Rd 14 after receiving a request for medical assistance. Resident was transported to Russell Hospital.
GOODWATER
On December 21st, Olen C. Kelley Jr, a registered Sex Offender, which resides on CR 131, reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender registration.
On December 21st, Deputies were dispatched to the 25000 block of AL Hwy 9 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. An I/O report was completed and case is under investigation.
On December 22nd, a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after receiving a report of an Assault that occurred on CR 86. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On December 23rd, Willie Earl Gamble, a registered Sex Offender, which resides on Gamble Drive, reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender registration.
KELLYTON
On December 23rd, a Deputy was dispatched to Yates Lane after receiving a report of loud music. The Deputy spoke with the individual and advised he will turn the music down. No report was needed.
On December 24th, Kellyton VFD and EMS, Alabama State Troopers and Deputies were dispatched to CR85 for a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to Troopers.
On December 25th, A Deputy was dispatched to Small Loop Road after receiving a report of loud music. The Deputy located the owner and situation was resolved without a report.
On December 27th, Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a commercial burglar alarm. Deputies checked business and determined alarm to be false.
RICHVILLE
On December 25th, Richville VFD, Kellyton EMS, Alabama State Troopers and Deputies were dispatched to CR 29 for a motor vehicle accident. Only minor injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the Troopers.
ROCKFORD
On December 24th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 305 after receiving a report of a domestic incident. A report was taken and case is under investigation.
On December 27th, a Deputy was dispatched to Jackson Street to assist a motorist that had locked their keys in the vehicle. The Deputy assisted the driver without incident.
On December 25th, Deputies were dispatched to Al Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and situation was resolved without a report.
On December 26th, Haynes Ambulance Service was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a request for medical treatment. Residence was transported to Elmore Community Hospital.
RAY
On December 22nd, William R. Layfield, a registered Sex Offender, which resides on AL HWY 22, reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender registration.
On December 23rd, Deputies assisted Montgomery PD in locating a vehicle that was taken from their jurisdiction. A report was made for recovery of unauthorized use of a vehicle.
On December 26th, Kellyton Medics and Ray First Responders were dispatched to Co Rd 32 after receiving a request for medical treatment. Resident was transported to Russell Hospital.
On December 27th, Deputies were dispatched to Co Rd. 73 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was taken and case is under investigation.
