JAIL POPULATION AS OF AUGUST 12 (25 MALES & 8 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 33 INMATES

ARRESTS

On August 6th Lt. Keel arrested Earnest Manual Wright from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Speeding. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On August 7th Deputy Richardson arrested Terrence Lamar Green from Columbiana, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Theft of Property 1st and Burglary 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On August 7th Deputy Richardson arrested Jatavius Marcel Nelson from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Speeding, Switched Tag, Driving While Suspended and Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and released on a $ 4,000 bond to await trial.

On August 8th Deputy Rudd arrested Carol Yetta Wyckoff from Montgomery, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. She was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.

On August 9th Captain Hammond arrested Matthew James Dohahue Jr. from Equality, AL. on a warrant for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,500 bond to await trial.

On August 10th Deputy Richardson arrested David Christopher Jordan from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Driving While Revoked. He was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On August 10th Deputy Richardson arrested Dawn Michele Parten from Opelika, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Public Intoxication. She was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On August 10th Deputy Rudd arrested Beverly Denise Hosmer from Stewartville, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

On August 11th Deputy Davenport arrested Doretha Shanai Whitaker from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Giving False Information to Law Enforcement. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.

 

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

On August 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 35 after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.

On August 7th Stewartville First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a 2-vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On August 8th a Resident came in to the Sheriff’s Office to report a case of Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On August 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

On August 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.

On August 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 66 after a resident reported that someone was Criminally Littering. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On August 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 near mile marker 50 after receiving a report of two suspicious people. The Deputy located the subjects and they were transported back to their vehicle.

WEOGUFKA

On August 7th Weogufka Fire department was dispatched to CR 118 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was contained without incident.

HANOVER

On August 8th an Alabama State Trooper was dispatched to Hwy 280 at CR 49 after receiving a report of a two-vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the Trooper cleared the scene without incident.

On August 9th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 at CR 49 after receiving a report of a 3-vehicle accident. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

KEYNO

On August 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

GOODWATER

On August 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.

KELLYTON

On August 6th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 81 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On August 6th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Morning Star Lane after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On August 7th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 280 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

RICHVILLE

On August 12th Richville First Responders, Haynes Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 29 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

ROCKFORD

On August 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

On August 6th Deputy Davenport attended the Union Square Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

On August 9th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

On August 8th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 311 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On August 10th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 93 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and explained the civil process.

EQUALITY

On August 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 33 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On August 11tha Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

RAY

On August 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

On August 8th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

LAKE MARTIN

On August 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Needle Eye Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

SMYRNA

On August 12th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 85 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
