JAIL POPULATION AS OF AUGUST 25 (23 MALES & 5 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 28 INMATES
ARRESTS
On August 22nd Deputy Middlebrooks arrested Lacee Alexis Avery from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear / Open Container. She was processed and released after fines were paid.
On August 22nd Sheriff Howell arrested Jaleshia Shardai Belyeu from Montgomery, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Speeding. She was processed and released on a $1,000 bond to await trial.
On August 23rd Sgt. Jones arrested Ashley Nicole Chaviers from Sylacauga, AL. on the charges of Burglary 3rd, Theft of Property 3rd, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 32,500 bond to await trial.
On August 23rd Sgt. Jones arrested Jessica Ann-Marie Thompson from Chelsea, AL. on the charges of Burglary 3rd and Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 27,500 bond to await trial.
On August 23rd Sgt. Jones arrested Amber Nickole Northcutt from Sylacauga, AL. on the charges of Burglary 3rd, Theft of Property 3rd, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. She was processed and Placed in the County Jail on a $ 37,500 bond to await trial.
On August 23rd Deputy Davenport arrested Buck Anthony Johnson from Alexander City, AL. on a 48 Court Ordered Sanction. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to serve 48 Hours.
On August 24th Deputy Davenport arrested Christopher Adam Grantham from Childersburg, AL. on a warrant for Violation of a Conditional Release. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
MARBLE VALLEY
On August 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 5 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On August 23rd Marble Valley First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Looney Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
STEWARTVILLE
On August 19th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.
On August 20th Freddie Richard Johns a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 41 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On August 20th Bobby Arron Saffold a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 70 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On August 21st Stewartville and Weogufka Fire Departments were dispatched to CR 70 after receiving a report of a structure fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On August 21st Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a three-vehicle accident. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On August 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 39 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
On August 23rd Deputies were dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a suspicious vehicle behind a residence. The Deputies located the vehicle and three subjects were arrested for Burglary and Theft of Property. A report was completed and the subjects were transported to the County Jail.
On August 24th a Deputy was dispatched to Wilson Lane after receiving a report of an Assault. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the warrant process.
On August 24th a Deputy was dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On August 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and transported them to their residence.
On August 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Lovette Lane after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy spoke to the person and determined that they were ok.
WEOGUFKA
On August 20th Angela Sue Sexton a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 29 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update her quarterly Sex Offender information.
On August 21st Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 29 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On August 25th Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 56 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to U.A.B Hospital in Birmingham.
HANOVER
On August 20th Sgt. Jones and Deputy Middlebrooks attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where they presented the monthly crime report for the area.
On August 20th Hanover and Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 at CR 49 after receiving a report of a two-vehicle accident. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On August 25th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On August 25th Stewartville First Responders and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 75 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
MOUNT OLIVE
On August 19th a Deputy was dispatched to Cripple Creek Trail after a resident reported a case of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
KEYNO
On August 21st the Sheriff was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Sheriff checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
GOODWATER
On August 19th a resident came in to the Sheriff’s Office to report a case of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On August 20th Henry Lee Kelly a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 9 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On August 22nd Raymond Allen Chillura a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Queen Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
KELLYTON
On August 20th Kenneth Brandon Bolt a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 115 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On August 20th Johnathan Wayne Vines a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 280 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On August 20th Charles Norman Ringo a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 97 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On August 20th a Deputy was dispatched to Church Street after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On August 22nd Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Long Tree Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On August 23ed a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.
On August 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to Sam Pearson Lane after receiving a report of Harassment. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
On August 24th a Deputy was dispatched to Long Tree Drive after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the residence
RICHVILLE
On August 19th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 14 after receiving a report of suspicious activity. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On August 20th Richville Fire Department was dispatched to CR 29 near CR 37 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
ROCKFORD
On August 20th Peter Wayne Wyrosdick a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 25 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On August 21st a Deputy was dispatched to Washington Street after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.
On August 22nd Stewartville First Responders, Kellyton Medics and a Deputy were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On August 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy located the person and they were warned not to return to the property.
COTTAGE GROVE
On August 20th Carey Tumane Leonard a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 101 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On August 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to Mitchell Circle after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
RAY
On August 25th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 63 after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident
SALEM
On August 22nd & 25th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 118 after receiving reports of Thefts of Property. Reports were completed and the cases are under investigation.
